Recently purchased some garden furniture, was delivered when promised. Very pleased , only disappointment was one of the chairs had been slightly damaged but I emailed pictures over of damage and I was offered several solutions, one of which I was happy to accept. Communication from the Company has been very good. Would use again.

"Bad Service! Avoid!!"
They sent the wrong colour garden lounge set. When we called, they said they "grey version" sold out this morning, despite us ordering ours two weeks ago!! Funny how we ordered during the 20% off offer. They clearly sold "our" set for more money so we lost out. Don't bother ordering. Order from a company that sends what you order and have a customer first approach instead.

"Avoid!!!!!!"
Wish I had listened to the reviews. Avoid this company!!!!! Ordered a sofa and got a call after payment saying the were out of stock and the line has been discontinued. They wanted me to have credit against another item rather than a refund. I've been on the website since and still showing item in stock?!

"Avoid Avoid Avoid!"
Avoid this company if you want any guarantee with your purchase. My garden furniture was received in August (after initial problem with faulty chair which was made twisted and topelled over if you tried to sit on it, however this was replaced) and after a few months their was signs of rusting on the base of the table. This got progressively worse to the point it looks so bad that it cannot be used. I wrote to the company and supplied photos but they failed to accept it was faulty on the grounds that they had supposedly “not received other complaints”. Not sure how this should affect my individual guarantee, however, they refused to accept it was not fit for purpose in a very bullying way, even implying I “must have done something to cause it”. The furniture cost £400 and they would only offer a 20% refund. So I now have a garden lounge set without a table and am not able to get one to match either. When I asked for their supplier’s details and details of the manufacturer they refused to supply this.

Ordered a dining set. First phone call was to alter date. 2nd phone call to say that the driver had damaged my goods (even though it was not out for delivery until the following day)
The caller immediately went on to ask if there was any other furniture I was interested in. Did they really have the furniture in the first place???
Good news I paid by paypal and refunded immediately.

"Very impressed"
Very impressed! We ordered a garden sofa set and a table/chairs set on a Monday evening, it was delivered on time on the Wednesday. Realised we were missing one small side table for the sofa set so called up customer services. Very polite and helpful and the missing piece was delivered the next day. As for the quality of the furniture, we're really happy! The wooden table and chairs in particular are fantastic.

I read the reviews after I purchased a Marseille Lounge Corner Set and I feared the worst. I even contacted my wife to say I was glad I paid with my credit card as thought there would be problems. This was not the case. Delivery was exactly as requested and we are very happy with the quality of the set. Would easily use Direct Outdoor Living again.

Their customer service is utterly appalling.
Ordered some furniture from them & as they don't deliver on a Saturday I booked the day off work.
Received an email notifying me the item had been despatched a couple of days before, however on the day I waited for hours without hearing anything
When I called I was informed the item wasn't being delivered & had been discontinued. Even though the company knew this information days before no one had the decency to notify me
Completely unacceptable & I totally frustrated & disappointed

"Poor communication."
Items show as in stock on website so purchased back in March. Was told item out of stock and arriving in May. May comes and no phone call. Called up chasing and told item is now discontinued. Could've purchased elsewhere but was assured item would be arriving. Item still shows as in stock on website. Poor communication. Poor customer service.
