University of the People

"This university is a scam"
This university is a scam. They purposely deny students scholarships. They do not care about anything but money. They claim to provide students with the opportunity to pursue higher education, yet say that you are in a competition to get a scholarship? WTF. Why did you stop at making the university tuition free? Make the whole university free, it's as simple as that.

"Don't Waste Your Time or Money"
My experience at University of the People has been terrible. I've encountered one issue after another. The Program Advisors are unhelpful. They changed my advisor without any communication, and none of my emails to them have been answered. While most of the instructors are decent, I've had one who is extremely rude and unprofessional - unethical. The course materials are poor, with an excessive amount of reading, and the quality is lacking. The time given to complete assignments is far too limited and unrealistic. I can't wait for my time at this school to end. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Pay a little more money and attend a better online institution with proper accreditation.

"Do not choose this institution!"
I am heartbroken and devastated after my experience with this institution. Yesterday, I had no choice but to withdraw from my studies after more than six years of effort. Their lack of care, poor communication and constant obstacles have completely shattered me.
The responses I received from them were robotic, delayed and almost always negative. Worse, they were often from different people, none of whom seemed to take responsibility or offer genuine help. Even as I was forced to leave, nobody seemed to care about what this meant for me after dedicating so much time and money to my education.
Over the years, they made drastic changes to policies, like introducing the learning path system and removing credit evaluation services, without any regard for how it would affect ongoing students. Despite submitting my credit report through an approved service and paying several hundred dollars for it, they refused to accept credits from one university while accepting those from another evaluated by the same agency. Their inconsistent decisions and purposeful delays have left me with no choice but to drop out.
This entire experience has destroyed my hope for the future. I have nothing left to live for, no degree, and no opportunities because of their negligence. To anyone considering this institution, please think twice before trusting them with your education and your life.

"ScamThey don’t tell you that you do have to…"
They don’t tell you that you do have to pay for the certificate program until after you’ve registered. Once you register, they refuse to refund you. Complete scam.

"I am a current student in Bachelor's…"
I am a current student in Bachelor's degree in Health Science. It is 100% online. The assignments are pretty challenging and it does take lots of efforts to complete them. For such knowledge gained from this current program, I recommend it.

"Keep your eyes open"
I chose this place to continue with my education goal while I was working on my budget. Now, I feel comfortable enough to afford a local University and thinking of moving but I guess I'm stuck here!
It's been about two months since I requested for a transcript to be sent out to a local University paying their highest service fees and still today they never sent it. I spoke to three different program advisors about this matter, using their email and chat services, but they were all useless. The concerns have been over and over sent to the relevant department to let me know they working on it but still today I don't have any clues. I'm in the process of filing a complaint against the school and student service cause this is so disrespectful! Anyway, I don't want to discourage anyone in this new adventure but keep your eyes open.

"A wonderful place to further your career"
I totally agree that this University may not be the most fantastic and that sometimes their methods are cumbersome and frustrating, nevertheless thanks to this University I am doing a Masters Degree in Russia, meeting new people, a new culture and having a wonderful time with the new people and the new experiences that I have along this new project.
I am mostly thankful since I am able to claim and further my education which in turn will provide me with the tools to create what I have been looking for.
If you guys need any help to study in Russia, make sure to let me know, I may be of help.

"University of the People: A Top Choice for Affordable and Flexible Online Education"
As a current student at the University of the People, I wanted to share my experience and highlight why I believe this institution stands out in the realm of online education.
Affordability
One of the most significant advantages of UoPeople is its affordability. "The company offers job opportunities in…"
The company offers job opportunities in other countries, such as Brazil, but they don't provide feedback, when you ask to know about the vacancy, they don't respond.A woman appeared, apparently she works for the University, but she just wanted to know what happened, she didn't help at all. Not professional at all! They talk about supporting minorities, but as a black person, I didn't even know what happened with the job opening
