"Pretty lame dudes"

Pretty lame dudes. I bought two packets of Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strings (a very specific gauge) on the 16th of January. I didn’t have any confirmation on shipping so I sent an email on the 20th, I had a confirmation email and invoice sent on the 22nd. The strings arrived on the following Monday (the 27th) on opening them, they were all rusty. I sent an email with pictures attached, to no avail, no response. I called and spoke to, I think her name was, Francis who quickly opened the email. She told me she would talk to Fender and get back to me. A few days passed, so I called back. No word, and Francis wasn’t available, apparently Fender was meant to call me. I was given The rep from Fender’s phone number, who then went completely out of his way to look after me. Going as far as hunting down some stock and pulling strings out of his own stash and sending them to me directly... on the 14th of February I still haven’t received the strings.

I’m a 33 year old dude, who has worked in retail for 15 years next to a music career, come this April. That was some backwards business and customer management on a $45 string transaction. Just send me some replacement strings, Frankenstein a set from single packs, or just give me a refund so I can get them from somewhere else. Why is manufacturer involvement even considered here? Thirty day refund/replacement is a pretty stock standard procedure, even on consumables.

"Great Online & After Sales Support"

Great Online & After Sales Support

I recently wanted to purchased a Bose LS1 with B2 Bass and the T8S Tonematch mixer to go with it.

After searching around online, I found Bava's Music and they were the only ones to have stock and at same time, a better price than any other online store in Australia.

So I decided to call them and I spoke to Frank DeBellis, and he was super helpful. He went and checked "personally" that these speakers were in stock as I needed it next day for a show I was doing.

After placing his hands on them and sighting them in the warehouse, he come back and told me they're in stock and he could do me an even "BETTER" deal over the phone than if I purchased via the website, so I jumped at that and it was excellent.

On top of this, Frank told me, he would try and get these out the same day (as it was the early afternoon I called) and true to his word, he did.

The boxes arrived the next day with TNT Express and I was "Blown Away" with how efficient it all went (and even though there was a tiny discrepancy in the boxes sent, Frank was able to clear it all up for me with a minimum of fuss the next day).

I couldn't recommend Bava's Music City HIGHLY enough, they're a caring team of knowledgeable muso's who know their stuff and you can see this if you ever visit their store, right from opening time there is a "line up" and this is tribute to their service.

If you're thinking of buying online and aren't real sure, don't be worried, these guys are the REAL DEAL and my experience with them has been "FIRST" class!

I ordered a music stand online from the Bava's website. Frances Bava contacted me as their supplier could not get the exact model of timber music stand I had ordered. She suggested an alternative model which actually turned out to be a better choice and then followed up on the delivery. She was extremely helpful and efficient and I would certainly recommend this business.
