"Scam scam scam..."
Scam scam scam...
All I can say is don't listen to a word they say. Just glad I read the reviews on the trip back to the office after looking at the resort. I feel they get backpackers to work for penny's that are trying to fund their hoildays. I did feel sorry for them.
If you see them on the street don't go with them, it's a waste of time

"Stay away from this company !!!"
Stay away from this company as it uses unscrupulous business practices !!!!
While holidaying in Bali back in January, I was provided with a scratch card by a Karma sales agent on the road which turned out to yield a 7-days luxury holiday voucher. After attending a 2-hours presentation at their office, I was told that the booking invitation link was sent to my email. However, after numerous follow-ups, and Whatsup message exchanges Karma Club hasn't been willing to make the booking which goes to show that their promotion is a complete scam!!!

"We stayed at Karma Kandara in Bali for…"
We stayed at Karma Kandara in Bali for a couple of nights and it was truly an amazing experience.
We were met solely with kindness and professionalism whenever we came across someone on the team.
We experienced both their spa, which was an amazing private area with an ice bath, sauna and jacuzzi after an hour-long amazing massage and their paella night, where we saw the chefs transform the ingredients into pure artwork - not to mention it tasted amazing too.
Nothing but good things to say about our stay!

"Awful marketing strategy."
Awful sales technique that makes you feel ‘icky’ afterwards.
Someone stopped us on the street in Bali, with two envelopes and told us we could win a prize but had to go to an office to listen to a presentation, view and hear about a ‘new hotel’ and promote it. We were told it wouldn’t only take an hour. The man acted really excited saying that because we got the big prize his family could have $50 and showed pictures or his wife and children (as others have written in their reviews also). Also we were told we won the ‘grand prize’ which hardly anyone wins which is an obvious lie alongside the ‘most people win the IDR because you spend it here in Bali’ Another lie as everyone wins prize B - a week holiday in a karma resort - which is almost impossible to claim and not worth it after you pay for flights and tax even if you are able to get the dates you need.
Spent almost 4 hours of our day being talked at, shown around, even taken for a beer at the beach, still completely unaware of what the price was or what we were getting sold (a timeshare)
When you were given the price it was £17,000 to be paid within a year, plus £500 a year maintenance costs for 25 years… we said we did not have that sort of money as we were saving for a house (and my partner was planning to propose on this Bali trip but I didn’t know this at the time). They tried to argue that it was an investment and it became quite awkward until they eventually relented. Yes they say it’s ‘no obligation and you can leave any time’ but they know most people are polite and will likely not do this.
We asked if we could join at a later date to give us time to sort finances and obviously they knew that also meant researching where we would see all of the negative reviews and likely not join so we were told no, we wouldn’t get the same price or offers. We didn’t use either of the vouchers we won, and will not trust anyone that stops us on the street again. We wasted half a day doing this. I’m a little embarrassed that we fell for it and the ‘no obligation to say yes’ is correct but also requires a fair few ‘no’s’. Even offering further incentives to get you to change your mind.

"I worked for Karma and I would like to tell you what I think about Karma Group"
I worked for Karma. I know for a fact that 60% of everything they tell customers is a lie and our managers teach us how to deceive customers. In addition to that, Karma is also a scam to it's employees. Karma still owes me 2 weeks salary and they owe my co-worker even more. 80% of Karma Hoi An's salesmen quit within one month. That tells you something. They tell you they have 7,000 affiliates you can book with. In reality, you can only book with 20% of those affiliates. They want you to make a decades long commitment within a one hour meeting. They want you to make a 9k-15k purchase after just learning about it an hour or so ago. My co-worker who was salesman of the year for Karma Hoi An in 2023 told me that 25% of his customers who became a member eventually regret joining. He told me that one woman was crying hours after joining Karma because she realized the huge mistake she just made. I know this because my co-worker showed me text messages he received from those upset customers. Everything I just said is what I saw and learned from my time working as a salesman with Karma Group.

Truffatori!
