"Not tax free"
Got a Cyclescheme voucher from my employer to get a bike for my husband, after about 18 months I got a letter to say I had to pay £72 to keep the bike, so technically you don't get it tax free because I paid £368 through my salary and then I had to pay £72 to keep bike. SO ITS NOT TAX FREE BECAUSE U HAVE TO PAY AT THE END ANYWAY !!!

"Customer service is a joke."
The idea of cycle scheme is great but cyclescheme's idea of customer service is a joke. I was sent an email saying the certificate had been approved and that the certificate would be sent. No certificate arrived after a week. So sent cyclescheme several emails over the next week, none of which they bothered to reply to. Called them up and was lied to saying that because they sent sent the certificate to a yahoo email it wouldn't accept attachments. They hadn't sent the email to yahoo they had sent it to my work email. So clearly they just hadn't attached the certificate and couldnt be bothered to re-send the email with the certificate attached. A very poor company to deal with once they have your money they clearly can't be arsed.
Clearly from your response you haven't read my comment properly. You sent the emails to my work email address, this is not yahoo it is gmail. So your lack of attachment argument does not stand up. I don't feel like I have been lied to I know I have! Another lie is to say I only sent 1 email. If you care to look again I sent one on the 2/9/16 to which I got no response and then another on the 6/9/16. So after another 3 days of waiting yes I did call. I have finally received the certificate after much time and effort on my side, so why would I need to call you again? Your attitude sucks and you have confirmed that the cyclescheme customer service is a joke, congratulations.

"Absolutely Brilliant"
I purchased my bike through the scheme in April 2013, since then I haven't looked back. I cycle every day where possible, I even do meetings and home visits on my bike now I have more confidence. I have just taken out a second loan to purchase a winter jacket and new lights. Thank you for this opportunity!

"A fantastic way to buy a bike"
I joined the cycle scheme through my employer (Suffolk Coastal District Council) in February and haven't looked back. I'd wanted to get back into cycling for a while, but the costs were just a bit too high. Cycle Scheme allowed me to get a brand new bike that retails at as much as £450, and I only lose £15 a month from my salary thanks to the tax free savings. I never even notice the payments, and with the bike I'm saving a fortune by not driving to work. The scheme has enabled me to get back into cycling and I've never been fitter or healthier. Once I've finished my initial hire period I'm heading straight to the bike shop to pick out my next bike. If you're thinking of getting into cycling but don't think you can afford it, I would definitely recommend cycle scheme. The service is excellent, and there is an excellent Cyclescheme community through the website and social networks to help you on your way once you've got your wheels. What are you waiting for? On yer bike!

"Best way to make your cycling dream come true! 2 bikes and counting"
I always wanted to try cycling but never had the money to invest in all the gear let alone a bike. With Cyclescheme Ltd I was able to get my first road bike along with some of the safety gear. It has been such a good investment in my health and wellbeing as well as my pocketbook that I have used the scheme twice. Would highly recommend using cyclescheme to anyone wanting to start their own cycling adventure.

"Excellent"
The whole experience of picking my gear and then applying for my certificate except for the wait for my company to pay was exciting and fun. I have had 2 bikes now. Cycle every day and love it. Would recommend them and have done to others.

"Fantastic Company. They got me cycling and I love it."
Cyclescheme are incredibly easy to deal with. They are linked to a huge array of cycle vendors throughout the country which makes getting a new bike very straight forward. Although I have not used it yet, the new initiative for safety equipment only only serves to bolster their importance to cycling in the UK.
Also, I am saving at least £80 a month on Oyster card fees. It's a no brainer.

"Cycle commuting is one of the best decisions I've made"
I had a rubbish old bike that I'd bought for £35 and was using it to get to work when a colleague said we used cyclescheme. I jumped at it - a new bike, tax free, that comes directly out of my wage. What's not to love?
Head out to a cyclescheme bike shop near you, which can be found on their site, and get a quote. Give it back to your employer who will work their magic and you'll get a confirmation email with a code that allows you to collect your bike.
I've got fit, improved my mood, improved my productivity at work and use my bike to collect shopping etc (I don't drive) so it's been an absolute life saver. You can also add in clothing, lights and safety equipment if you need it (but I already had my own from my old bike). There's no reason not to do it.

"Saved a packet on a superb new bike"
I was interested in getting a new bike to get into work (instead of using the tube) so asked my boss if he would get the company set up with Cyclescheme. I think it took him about 2 emails and one or two forms to fill out, then we were all set. I chose my bike and accessories and signed the relevant documents. My repayments for the bike came out of my pay packet over 12 months and overall I saved about 33% on the cost of the bike and accessories. What's not to like?
