On Saturday 23 Nov 24 We had waste water with an oily film coming up through our shower drain and gurgling of water in the toilets.
Nextdoor have a surge pump to deal with extra waste water, they have been waiting for a new pump spoken to the company who order it in Sept but as yet it hadn’t been dealt with. And this is why we had the problem with flooding coming up into our house.
We want to say a big thank you to Nathan from County Clean group, he arrived on such a terrible night weather wise, sheets of rain and high winds, hailstones and absolutely freezing cold. Nathan worked solidly for near on 5 hours working solidly to get the blockage and waste water flowing in the right direction rather than coming into our house, he made sure the waste water was flowing into the road drains. The new surge pump part has been ordered by Nathan to get the surge pump to get it working fully again and hopefully it will be fitted soon.
