"Easy as hgv"

Easy as hgv, have been great from the start, the company I work for offered me the chance to become a hgv driver and used easy as hgv to get me there.
Right from my medical test, theory all the way to my lessons and test communication as been great. Everything was booked in good time and they was always free to help If I had any questions. Great company will definitely use again when I decide I want to upgrade and go for my class 1 👍

Having been sold a "fantastic package" of B to C+E, when I EVENTUALLY got my training dates, many months later, it was insisted I did the C training, despite years of driving buses, including double deckers. After being told I HAD to do it that way by easyashgv, the actual training provider said it was a waste of my time and money and I should be directly doing C+E.

Anyway, I begrudgingly did it, then 13 days later, (on this "intensive course"), I started my C+E training!

The training itself from the third party was excellent and I passed first time. Having passed, I informed easyashgv as they promised to help me with finding a job. I heard nothing so chased them up and they asked me for my work history etc and they would help with a CV and cover letter etc.

Nearly a month on and nothing back. I give up with them. A costly lesson!

Please, please, please, save your time and money and do not use them and just go directly to a training provider. (I know 2 Start Ltd is excellent. I'm not affiliated with them, but have had first hand experience.)

Update after reply:

I was told for insurance purposes I had to do the 7 day course which included doing the C category training first. I opted for 7 days intensive. When I questioned the need to do the C category after the law change, they reverted back to saying the insurance said it had to be done that way. The actual training provider said I was wasting my time and money and it was Easy As HGV who stated that people like myself going from car to C+E had to do C (contrary to the law change).

There was also the 13 day gap in between the C training and then the C+E. It was sold as 7 day intensive, whereas it is only 4 or 5 hours a day maximum. Not intensive with my understanding of the word for part of a day and with the large gap in training.

To date, 26th October 2022, I've not had any emails or calls regarding my CV, cover letter or anything from any recruitment partner. No missed calls or voicemails either.

Credit where credit is due and 2 Start Training were excellent who Easy As HGV use in my area. Good choice there, thanks.

Shopped around and decided to use EasyasHGV.

Completed a four-day course from Car to C+E. Passed first time. This is a credit to EasyasHGV and the trust they have with the companies affiliated.

I was kept firmly within the loop, if I had any questions or queries there was someone readily available.

Once test was completed, they proceeded to contact me to receive, review and annotate my CV which is then sent to (what I assume is partners or again, affiliated companies) to help me get into work quickly. Currently within this process!

Overall very satisfied with the service.
