My Neff oven stopped getting hot, phoned this Company on Thursday pm. An engineer was here Friday mid-fay. I was informed when he was on his way, he was in uniform, covid secure, polite, efficient and friendly. Identified the problem and replaced faulty part. Excellent service

I was kept abreast of everything and Charlie, the engineer rang me when he was ten minutes from my home which was much appreciated. He identifued the problem immediately and ordered the part explains he would return once he had it. Charlie was polite, friendly and helpful.

"Insane parts markeup!"

The repair guy was very nice, and seemed highly competent. However, parts were needed, which they were willing to order. But they marked them up from £260 to £430 -- a 65% markeup!!!! I offered to order the parts myself, but then they wouldn't install them. They said it's because "they couldn't gaurantee the parts were correct". Code for: "we reserve the right to rip you off". Not going back.

Capital's reply? "no retailer buys and sells the part for the same price and the parts". True, but a £170 markup on £260 pounds isn't a markeup -- it's a ripoff. And the worst part is they didn't tell me it was marked up: all I got was a quote for £430. I would have written a much nicer review if it had been itemized: £260 for parts and £170 for profit and a gaurantee (which isn't even all that great).

I bought and installed the parts myself. Took 30 minutes, and it's still working!
