"Best place for fruit."
I recently bought several pieces of fruit from here and it is expensive but worth the money. The plums, strawberries and peaches actually tasted like they should. They did not go from stone hard to mush. This now will be my choice of store for friut.

"Badly staffed"
Badly staffed, and badly stocked. It's been 2 months since I've seen an egg in my local one that wasn't made of chocolate.
Also what happened to your ginger and chocolate cookies???

"If I could give 0 stars I would"
If I could give 0 stars I would. We have just eaten a loaf of co op own brand bread to find a feather embedded in one of the slices… absolutely disgusted! My husband actually works in the food packaging industry and feels this should have been picked up on the X-ray machines used. I will never purchase another item of coop own brand food again!

"I have ordered a delivery"
I have ordered a delivery, second time and both times not turned up, got confirmation, which said I will receive another confirmation once picked and packed, no confirmation, won't be using again, if they e cannot deliver, don't advertise they can, infuriating 😡

"Consistently till/ shelf prices not matching!"
Consistently having self prices that don't match the till price!!!!
Consistently not applying meal deals to receipt total due to staff activity putting non meal deal items on meal deal shelf's.... I asked the staff about this that stock the shelfs and they advised that's where they go!!! Non meal deal items on a meal deal shelf!!! Why would a business actively and purposely do this.
Not only is this done the layout of the receipt hides how individual discount is applied so you can't even figure it out!!
This skyrockets your bill as you pay significantly more for the other items in the meal deal!!!
The co-op have been using this tactic for quite some time now and the must genuinely owe me hundreds and I suspect many others.
They will tell me it's human error but anyone that shops there regular can see they are purposely and systematically deceiving customers will their bill!!!
I have put in a complaint as I took photos of my receipt, shopping and the shelves in question.
I don't suspect I will get refund....

"Making babies ill"
They sell out of date baby milk by 5months! They don't call you back or deem this important and no refund! Will never shop there again

"Taken £46.96 but delivered Shopping and have ghosted me!"
Ordered shopping via their app, had message come up saying error with card use another. My brother then lent me his card, same thing happened. Then found both cards had the same sum removed to pending. Phoned up co-op was told it would come back to account in 3 days, nothing happened. Used online form and was asked to provide additional information, I provided approx time of ordering and to screen captures showing the pending of over £46 each in both my account and my brother's bank. Then NOTHING! Tried to contact again, and seems they have ghosted me totally! No response no message to say they are looking into it. I'm on low-income and can't afford to throw away £46 odd and get nothing. I am so upset. Don't know what to do. But one thing I do know is I am going to tell others to avoid shopping via co-op app ever again. Clearly they do not care about loyal customers.

"Dystopian facial recognition cameras"
Why is your store at Northcourt Road, Abingdon using facial recognition and why are you telling customers to social distance? This dystopian technology has no place in a democratic society! What are the GDPR implications and our human and sovereign right to privacy? Why is a private company in London holding this data and for what purpose? Who will they be selling the data to? I will no longer shop in the co-op! This isn't about customer 'safety'!
