"Don't use the delivery service"

The delivery service seems cheap but waste of money if they never have what you order, e.g. bread, milk and eggs - only reason I was placing the order was for basics! Stuff come from small local stores so stock is always limited when it is picked.
Delivery driver brought half the stuff, took it away again and never came back!

"I visited extremely quiet Co-op store…"

I visited extremely quiet Co-op store to buy chocolate bar gift. Looking leisurely, sweets section: shopping soon to be negative because; unhelpful member of staff approached me knodding his head. I felt intimidated to leave.

"Forth co-op"

the shop in my area (forth a little village) is usually good the staff are excellent besides one person who wants to hold up que just to get gossip this can be anytime from 5 minutes up to 15 minutes and i have put in more than 3 complaints but nothing has been done so don't think they even care for there costumers

"Highly recommended"

The coop store where I live (Loftus) is excellent and the staff are delightful. There are always plenty of generous discounts available and the produce is of very good quality. The store is well laid out and you can either take your time and browse or whizz round. Excellent. Highly recommended!

"Extremely poor"

Extremely poor, horrendous, rude, and arrogant customer service experience every time I try to drop off or pick up evri parcels at the canning town London branch, and today was just enough. I've never experienced such disrespectful behaviour before. When I approached the counter, 4 members were chatting and laughing. The woman with the name dessma (azian, wearing a head scarf) became very agitated when I went to collect my parcel, because the time was a couple mins after 9pm. Her 1st sentence was, "What is the time now, huh!" using the all energy and emotions she could have, and continued with the same manner by saing."You can not come soo late for collection. Read your emails properly!" I've witnessed her arguing with the customer before. No customer or human deserves such a rudness. The manager whose name is deepak also needs proper training. Obviously, he doesn't know how to handle such a situation, or either with his staff. He could see and hear what she was saying, how she was expressing her self, her voice, her face expression, her body language, she even was waiving her finger when she was arguing with me. On several occasions, mainly on Sundays, her colleague, who looks and behaves the same as her. Was refusing to accept returns with the excuse that the machine is not working, even if you have a label. I am wondering what criteria this shop is hiring their castomer assistants and managers and do they go through any customer assistant training. If they are unhappy with their job, they can just leave and allow someone else to provide the service. 0 customer service never smiles or makes you feel welcome. This shop gets worse and worse with the time as the staff is allowed to have no manner dealing with customers. I experience better service in my local shop. Hope Co-op improve their minimum customer service standards.
Some people just need to be fired. Would recommend finding any alternative for parcel drop off or pick up and avoid this shop!!!!

"Big thanks to Sanjay for his extraordinary patience and assistance."

I would like to say a big thanks to Sanjay, a supervisor (I believe) at Co-Op store 9918 (Romford) for his extraordinary patience and assistance. On 1/3/23 I purchased a product but realised I couldn't use it because it contained alcohol. Some staff outrightly said it was non-refundable. Sanjay, on the other hand was patient. He listened to me and understood that I had made genuine mistake. He went above and beyond to ensure I got my refund. First of all, I had no receipt for the purchase which complicated the whole issue. However, after asking me a few questions, Sanjay was able to reprint a duplicate receipt for me. Then he tried to process the refund. When that failed, he helped me contact the Co-Op Head Office. It took a few days to hear from the head office but they did eventually authorise my refund, which they said I should collect in store from the manager. The store manager was unavailable the few times that I went to claim my refund. Out of frustration I almost gave up on the refund, but again, Sanjay checked their rota and gave me the correct date and time when the manager would be available. True to his word, I met the manager this final time and got my refund. Thank you Sanjay. Co-Op has gain another loyal customer because of you!!

"Don't order a food collection online"

I ordered a food collection online via the Co-op website but when I got the the store I was told they didn't do food collections so couldn't help me. Not only was it a wasted journey for me but I then had to place an order with another company a day later. My complaint has just taken me round the houses with the Co-op as they don't let you speak to a human being, despite giving me an 0800 number to contact Customer Services, all that happens is that they send you a digital link you can use to email them. Even when I did this their response was bland and did not address my complaint. I shan't be using them again.

"Excellent customer service"

Would like to give a great customer service to two lovely ladies at co op, who went the extra mile to save a life.
I went to the co op in Netherfield to pick up few things but at the till, apparently I collapsed and these two lovely ladies- Ann and Melanie, and their son, who had come to pick mum up, all waited behind called the ambulance and waited for ages for ambulance to come before they could go home late in the night. These are excellent staff. God richly bless them and their families. Thanks to them, am alive today ❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾

"Completely and utterly useless"

Completeyand utterly useless. Have used them twice. First time goods arrived over a day late, after hours spent on phone chasing them. Goods eventually just dumped by front door. Same performance second time and am still awaiting delivery. Never again
