"Final Quality Could Be Improved Given Price Point"

Great idea and design concept.
I’ve given 3 stars as I fee the final quality of the product could be improved given the price point. Overall quality of the umbrella is good, the shaft, ribs, runner, springs, stretchers and handle is nice to use.
However, the stitching over the Blunt tips completely unprofessional considering the $119AUD price point of the Metro - the top needle tension is too tight resulting in the black bobbin thread looping through on to the top side of the fabric. It’s fairly visible and unsightly, ruining the overall topside visual of the umbrella.

"My first Blunt umbrellas"

I ordered 2 Blunt umbrellas - a Sport umbrella and a Coupe UV. They were delivered in 2 days, which is amazing in this time of delayed deliveries due to Covid19! They were well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I am very happy with both umbrellas. The Sport umbrella is huge and will easily protect 2 adults walking together. I really like the rounded corners. I can't wait to use my new umbrellas!

Would of been easier to buy if they supported Apple Pay. But instead I was forced to enter my name, address and credit card details manually like it was 2019. I know there’s been a pandemic and all but that’s no excuse for forcing customers to feel like they are stuck in the dark ages. Item did ship quickly though which is a bonus, guess BLUNT AU is more focused on core business rather then signing up to latest payment tech. Maybe 2022 will bring a refreshing change to how they allow us to pay while maintaining quick shipping and high quality umbrellas that spin in the wind instead of turning inside out.

Looking down upon Hobart city from my hotel room window during the recent freak rainstorm. People everywhere struggled to keep their umbrellas under control.
One woman stood out as she strode through the wind and rain, her distinctive umbrella held aloft with confidence.
There and then I determined to buy one.
Ordered Thursday Pre-Black Friday sales and it arrived regional WA the following Wednesday,
Not disappointed, brilliant design.

Failed to inform me on their website that sleeve no longer came with The classic.
I had to email them to only find out it was an additional $40.
Having been a long standing customer with multiple purchases nothing was offered to me.
No notification of shipping only to be told after enquiring that they were experiencing delays due to Black Friday.
This should have been noted at check out.
Nothing offered again.
Still waiting for my delivery.
Not happy.

I spent long time researching umbrellas as I was sick of the trash you get at the big supermarkets, even the golf umbrellas where becoming cheap and cheerful and made in china. The blunt umbrellas seem to be well made and are supported by a good guarantee, sHowing confidence in their product, even received a cheeky email about umbrellas becoming a Throw away product, could not agree more and happy to support and spend extra to get a well made product, cannot wait to get it..
