"Requested a charge back "

I was left extremely disappointed with The Handbook having signed up to use their free trial I cancelled it on the day it ended but was still charged £70! I instantly emailed them explaining I cancelled it on the last day but was met with an automated email saying no refunds and that my message would be answered within 24-48 hours. After chasing everyday trying to get a response. Elly the CEO finally replied a week later asking for my account details which I swiftly gave. Of course I didn’t hear back for another week and by this time I had already contacted my bank for a refund.

I can honestly say this platform is not all that great especially for the price. I found myself not even using it much, a few contacts were not correct which I flagged and frankly if you just spent a few more minutes going directly to their Instagrams their managers or contact details are already there. Ridiculously overpriced and I get the sense they are desperate for cash. Elly - you need to have bit more common sense and empathy with your customers. Refusing to refund me on the day I cancelled my free trial is utterly ridiculously, you clearly need the money it seems.

No clue who these people are, they are just scraping profiles and trying to get people to sign up to access public data. I don't have a manager, so not sure how they will put you in touch with him/her. Scammers.

I'm listed as a contact for several artists on The Handbook. I used to work at a gallery 10 years ago which represented them but this week I've been inundated with emails from people trying to contact them. Whoever is doing the research really is doing a poor job and I'm having to deal with unsolicited requests about artists I don't work with.
