"Stress Free Process"
My partner and myself found the process of viewing two different properties with AHE very stress free and straightforward. The sales team were very attentive and quick at getting back to us with any questions we had. After both viewings we went to, the team gave us a call to check how we felt about the properties and if there were any issues. This was great, as we didn’t have to chase AHE or wait for emails, like we have in the past with different estate agents. When it came to putting an offer down on a property we loved, Ema in particular was great at passing communications between myself and the seller quickly. Ema called me on a few occasions to update me of offers on the property. This meant I was able to increase my offer and this get noted straight away, rather than sending emails and waiting for a response. Fortunately our offer on the property has been accepted. We are looking forward to having the same positive experience going forward with AHE, until the property is ready for us to move in to. Thank you for everything AHE!

Alex and his team are always on the ball. Lovely photos of the house and screening of potential tenants resulted in an interest of 15 sets of people. Helpful team which organised last minute viewings to suit times I could go. Very quick to remove the property I was purchasing off the market when they had received relevant information. Good to have that sense of security when the house is off and an offer is accepted.

"Be careful of the hidden costs"
I had my offer on a property accepted. I asked for the details of the length of the lease, the amount of the service charge & ground rent.I was told the length of the lease, but they were awaiting the seller getting back to them with the details of the service charge & when they did they would contact me. Now considering the property had been on the market since before Christmas I would have thought they had all the details. As the property had no shared communal grounds or facilities like an idiot I paid my solicitor to go ahead with the searches & I paid to have a Homebuyers survey. When high damp problems were found the seller then came back to state there wasa a pot for that, so again I asked how much the service charge was, which was when I found out that it was a lot higher than the standard service fee, yet I had not been contacted as promised, so I pulled out of the purchase as I would not pay the amount being asked. Maybe it's me but I always thought when you are purchasing something you should be told all costs upfront. I see the property is back on the market & it still does not show the service charge, maybe because they know it is too high. After doing this review I received a very sarcastic email from Alexander Hudson that maybe they could help in future with a freehold property. Yet over the last two day I have viewed two leasehold flats with no service charge as they did not share any communal areas. In response to your reply below, yes I was told I would be contacted once all details were received from the seller. This never happened as I only found out the service charge when a problem arose with the Homebuyer survey. Lindsey advised it had been sent to my solicitor, which was not contacting me, as I did not have that information.
