Susan's Customer Service has been absolutely outstanding during a very difficult period for Pendragon Vehicle Management. Relationships between Evans Halshaw and their Transport Agent seem to have broken down during a very stressful time when we were trying to deliver 100 new vans to different addresses around the UK. Sue has been the ultimate professional and at all times been courteous and calm when both of us have felt like screaming at the inaptitude of third parties. Sue is a credit to Pendragon Vehicle Management.

Keep sending me invoices 6 months after the vehicle was collected. One minute it’s for the vehicle collection which was not in the contract, the next it’s for a chip in the windscreen that I had already had repaired before collection and sent them proof of repair. Absolutely disgusted. Never had any issues leasing through other companies. Avoid like the plague!!! It’s a shame as the broker (Evans Halshaw) have been brilliant and have been trying to help me resolve this, but I will never deal with Pendragon again after this. The car was immaculate and they would of made money on it, so why they are trying to bully money out of good customers is beyond me.

"MY WIFE’S LIFE WAS AT RISK"
I purchased a Citroen C4 Cactus from a private party from Auto Trader which had been purchased from Evan Halshaw. What attracted me to his listing was the remaining warranty. I did my due diligence on the car (based on what was available online) and purchased it. The seller was great, contacted the warranty in order to transfer it and he was informed that due to COVID it was taking longer than usual.
Services were current and we were on the way to a garage for an oil change when suddenly the vehicle collapsed. The wheel came off with the suspension and axle attached to it without any warning or previous noises. No pothole was hit as there was none on the way. We were blessed that it happened on a low traffic and low speed road, but she was driving on the motorway a few minutes before and according to the mechanic that helped us if it had happened on the motorway, it could have been fatal.
I contacted Pendragon and Evan Halshaw and ping-pong started. No one wants to take responsibility and throw it at each other. I received different reasons as to why the claim had been rejected then suddenly they say that the info I provided shed a nee light on it and they wanted to proceed with it. Next day they stopped answering my emails. The number just rings and I was told that I have to keep trying until someone does.
Horrible, disrespectful, disgusting and borderline criminal behaviour. Apparently they are trying to see if I just let it go, but I WILL NOT.
DO NOT BUY FROM EVAN HALSHAW OR PENDRAGON.
UPDATE:
3 MONTHS have passed and no signs of any resolution or response. Next course of action is being taken.

1 year has passed and no sign of a resolution. Just filed a lawsuit.

If you are handing any lease vehicles back ensure you hire your own independent inspection to take place at the same time the car is being collected , you will be billed for items that were not damaged on return and be told it’s your word against there’s and that the invoice still stands to be paid. Thank you Sarah, yes they have and nothing has been resolved. It’s basically my word against yours and that your right and there is nothing I can do about it. I have asked three times now for proof of respray of the car and I’m still awaiting a response. I have also asked for a three way conference call with the guy that collected the car and yourselves which I was told would be looked into but very unlikely and still awaiting an update on this. Not sure why this wouldn’t be possible. I don’t expect there to be a positive outcome after other reviews I have read, but this has taught me a very big lesson and that is to ensure I have my own independent collections report to be carried out at the same time. In all the years I have leased I have never had an issue with handing cars back until now abs this has put me off of leasing a car in future! An invoice of over £1000 to be paid on some items that are made up is dishonest and awful!
I am still awaiting a response of my last four emails so no this has not been resolved as of yet.
