I can highly recommend Smyth and Associates. I was very pleased with the thorough service provided. I had used another firm previously who recommended a Homebuyers survey in relation to a property I was about to buy - the Homebuyers survey pretty much said the property didn’t need any urgent work. My own instincts said differently, so I instructed Seamus Smyth to undertake a full survey and was so glad that I did since the full survey showed that quite a bit of urgent work was necessary - so much so that I decided not to proceed with the purchase. On finding another property, I immediately instructed Seamus to carry out a full survey and am currently proceeding with that purchase instead. Seamus is one of the safest pair of hands in the profession. Brilliant.

I hired his services to produce a building survey report (formerly known as a structural survey) and the report that arrived was very comprehensive, The report proved useful in not only identifying the current condition of the property, but giving me peace of mind and also proving valuable in the final stages of the house purchase. The report contained many photos to help explain the issues the property had and plain English was used throughout!

I will recommend Seamus to friends & family and in the event I move house soon, I will be contacting him again.
