Myself and my partner recently offered on a freehold 1930s house, we instructed Albright surveyors who carried out a full structural survey on the property, they gave us a full breakdown on expected costs and works that urgently required attention. We decided to withdraw from the property based on their survey and we are very glad that we did, they saved us thousands and I would be very happy to recommend them to anyone else looking to purchase a property, getting a survey is a must be getting a company that you can trust is even more important! We worked with Lee, he was brilliant and always happy to help, super knowledgeable!!

"Great Surveyor. Quick, Efficient and Informative."
The Surveyor called to run through the survey report with me shortly after conducting the survey and offered some practical advice on how to deal with some of the points of concern raised by the survey. He also offered to be available for any further discussions relating to the the survey's findings. But mostly he offered me great assurance that the house was a good purchase with a lot of potential, which was very much appreciated.
I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them.

Lee Van Blydenstein did a survey at my property in SW4 Clapham and I have to say I was most impressed by the service and the report came through the following day. He was very quick and efficient. Lee's analysis provided me the right solution and I felt very reassured and confident with his report. The work carried out was to a very high standard and will be recommending to my interior contacts and certainly use again. He was a charming gentleman.

Very happy with the service from Albright Surveyors. Easy to get hold of Liza in the office and she was quick to answer queries. The report from the surveyor was delivered very quickly after the survey.
Guy himself was very thorough, calling me immediately after the survey and talking me through the various elements of the report.
The property is slightly quirky and he went out of his way to speak with one of the neighbours about a certain issue, which he didn't have to do but was very much appreciated

"Level 3 survey"
The level of customer service and support from Liza was brilliant. She ensured all my requests on possible issues I had found in the property were looked into, within reason.
Guy was brilliant as the surveyor; once completed, rang me swiftly (checked if I was free) and gave an overview of what he had found and possible issues to look into, all of which was written in his report.
Overall, worth the time and money spent.

"The surveyor missed multiple problems…"
The surveyor missed multiple problems in the property especially rising damp which proved to be very costly to resolve.
I can see from other reviews that they take the same attitude to complaints. They were very slow to respond and eventually offered to refund the survey. This was no where near the cost of the problems but they refused to respond to any complaints in any detail or in a quick time.

Was recommended to use Albright Surveyors by someone who had previously bought a house and used their services. Unfortunately the experience we had was below par. Initially dealing with Liza who was very pleasant and initially the process appeared smooth and the survey was set up quickly. The problems appeared after the survey was completed. Upon moving into our property 2 of the windows were defective, not opening at all. The surveyor had documented in the survey that all the windows were checked and found to be working. When we complained initially the surveyor repeated that when he visited the property all the windows opened, he subsequently admitted he may have missed the windows.
On top of this he identified rising damp in the property but stated it was not of concern but should be monitored. Shortly after moving into the property the plaster and paint work that the previous owner had patched up prior to the survey began to crumble and fall off the wall with mould spores appearing. We had to undertake damp work to repair this, the surveyor was dismissive of our concerns and stated this was unnecessary work that we had undertaken and due to this we would not be compensated.
Shortly after this our front door needed to be repaired, the repairman stated that the lock and mechanism were not in a good condition and that it was quite obvious from the loose door handle that this was the case. The front door was not mentioned in the survey. The surveyor ignored our concerns about the front door.
Overall we are extremely unhappy with the service we were provided and in our opinion it was an untrustworthy survey.
The only positive experience is that Albright fully refunded the cost of the survey. I would not recommend anyone to use their services as they have caused us nothing but grief in what should have been a joyous experience buying our first home. Not happy.
