Excellent delivery on time and very friendly.

I've never dared to cook the Beef Wellinton myself as I worry about ruining an expensive fillet. So it was potentially an extravegant risk to order it for a special Valentine's evening meal however I followed the instructions and we loved it. Rare tender and delicious.

the beef wellington gets so over cooked on the side / ends before internal temp at centre hit 60c the timings were right for middle temp but sadly so over done on edges , the probe i have is not cheap and i use it a lot ...NOT one i would buy again at the price .... BUT unless you try you wont know ......

No matter what I select for my click and collect orders, I know the taste and quality will be great. The choices are varied, so I can have meals I wouldn't necessarily cook myself.
The service at my local branch is always friendly and efficient.

Lovely meal, Nice and easy particularly one friend is vegetarian. One problem though as
I have Diabetes type I , I had to make my own pudding. Sweets need o have no more than 5% sugar for us. Can be done easily with half sugar or sweetener products. So I made my own panacotta!!!
Delivery was great.

I’m afraid a negative comment.
My order was confirmed with a day and time slot. Unfortunately your delivery driver left the order at the wrong house. The property owner was away and was being looked after by a house sitter, the house sitter was not aware that the order was not for the owner until she had put the items away and then looked at the receipt seeing that it was not for her employer.
She then repacked the items and brought the order to me.
I’m surprised as I have been a Cook customer for many years and hope to continue. Please advise your driver to be more careful next time.

"Great when you know what to order "

I’ve ordered from cook a few times and it’s pretty good. Some meals are better than others and most need a bit of extra salt & pepper so there is a bit of trial and error. A few meals also aren’t filling enough for me and need a couple of sides to go with it. If you want quick healthy meals it’s worth a try but remember which ones you like and don’t like for any other orders.

We had Moroccan spiced chicken which tasted perfect t. Couscous too, though two packs is enough for 8 people.
