"Not 100% Colour match"

Not 100% Colour match, Bought Ford Race Red, colour is a lot darker than the car. Tried on different places on the car. Informed Chipex who acknowledge my email - "There are a few possibilities what could have gone wrong and we will try to make it right. I have passed the issue to our head paint technician who will remake this paint as soon as possible" it is expensive for it not to match.

Update - Chipex has now sent me a new tub of Race red, i have still to try this, but fingers crossed the match is alot better.

"Chipex now my preferred method"

Tried Chipex for the first time having used many more traditional chip fix methods in the past. Chipex is much faster, easier and produces better results than any methods short of going to a pro paint shop. Little chips disappeared on my Mustang in minutes. Only the deeper chips needed further applications to fill them in level. I'm going to order a kit of my other car right away!
