"I have bought car paint from chipex…"

I have bought car paint from chipex before for my other car and it was so easy to use. When I bought my next car it had a few scratches so decided to buy chipex once more.

"Chipex for my BMW i3 scratch "

I purchased black and a metallic silver as I had some scratches appear on my BMW i3. The scratches on the silver paintwork had some deep gauges and there were some very light scratches over the black paintwork. After spending a fair amount of time filling the deeper scratch using the silver Chipex I was surprised how good the result was. The black chipped was the same. After applying the paint and then the cleaning solution and then the polish the scratches vanished. I was really pleased with the finish as the BMW i3 has a carbon body and was not sure if this would work but it did. Thanks Chipex!

Had a few stone chips on my bonet, was skeptical about using the touch up kit, I am blow away from the results, stone chips are unrecognisable, it turned out amazing, highly recommend.

While they initially provided the wrong paint type twice, the customer service team were friendly and prompt every time I spoke to them and sent re-mixed paint out with no questions asked.

I purchased a kit for my silver Mazda MX5, arrived in good time. As you can see it was used on the bumper to deal with a number of scratches and stone chips, some were quite deep. It did a good job considering, I had a number of attempts and think I should have let the paint dry some more as the weather was not that good. The process was easy to follow and I am sure I will have good results with smaller chips in the future. Overall worth purchasing and getting used to the process. Dave

"Directions are vague"

Directions are vague, don't expect a 100% paint match even with the color code, especially if the vehicle is older than a few years. The blending procedure is trial and error. For small touch ups I believe its pretty decent. I did not see an option where clear could be applied like there is with other kits. For the money its a pretty good buy. This day in age I wish there was a way to scale the paint color based on age and fade.
