"I would definitely recommend Smile Dental Turkey "

I am writing this review after 1 visit of 3 is complete (finished on the 12th Feb 25) and will update it after each of the remaining visits are done - next one is around May time..

Before choosing Smile Dental I did my research - Smile Dental for me just had the edge over the others with peoples feedback so I made initial contact by email. From the point of initial contact with them - to heading back home the communications and planning was first class and without fault. I didnt have to worry about anything (including transfers to and from the airport and from the hotel to surgery and back for treatment).

The treatment planning, consultations, my fears about needles, dentistry and aftercare following treatment - was also fist class. I would class myself as not the easiest patient to work with simply because of my fear of dentists (which kept me out of dentists for a good 30 years). All staff were very aware of this and extremely supportive - no more so the dentist herself - who was brilliant with me.

The information and advice at each step of the way was spot on and If I needed time to clarify something (which I did a few times) - then all staff again just spent as long as I needed to understand what I needed to do. It is extremely difficult to fault any of the service - because there simply was no fault with it.

I spent a good 30 to 35 years making sure nobody seen my teeth - and in the end I couldn't even look at them myself. Whenever I smiled - it was with closed lips, and only when I had to.

The transformation is truly amazing and I find myself having to learn to smile again. What I didn't realise is the impact it would have on improving my confidence - which has been huge for me.

I found it difficult to say thankyou to the staff at smile dental because I just didnt have the words. I still dont have the words to describe how grateful I am.

The next couple of visits are to deal with my back teeth and get my bite back - Im still fearful of dentists - but I am going back in the knowledge that I have less to be fearful about.

Would be wrong to write this review and not mention the staff at the hotel - they were absolutely great, friendly and helpful no matter what you wanted.

When there I spoke to a good few people who were also being treated at Smile Dental - and their daily feedback reflected what I just wrote.

Absolutely first class service.

"Trust returned in dentistary"

I have just returned to UK from my first visit. I was recommended by a good friend who had his treatment at Smile. I have had seven implants and a bridge fitted with a sinus lift and bone graft as well. The whole trip has been a revelation and my trust in dentists restored after years of really bad experiences in the UK. UK dentists told me that if I had treatment overseas no UK dentist would ever treat me again. All I can say to that is I would never trust a UK dentist again after the wonderful way the team organised this trip. I am returning in June for my second trip for the new smile and crowns that have been planned. I cannot fault the way I have been guided through the whole process and if anyone has any questions I am happy to answer and explain how I have been supported through this.

"Scammers"

One of the worst clinics they didn't do the right treatment i needed
They told me a certain price before i came and in the clinic they added a huge amount on it
They're scammers they didn't do all the crowns needed
Doctors don't do their job as it should be done
When i talked to other patients they told me they're totally a fraud

I'm halfway through my treatment, full mouth implants all on 6.

If you're hesitating don't! I've struggled with my teeth for over 11 years in the UK scared into trying to save 40k plus to fix them. I wish I'd gone to Smile earlier. I researched them for 2 years and for a 3rd of the UK private quotes the treatment has been first class, service amazing, facilities amazing, transfers and hotel great. I'm going back in March for my final appointment but already look at million dollars compared to my NHS dentures.

Lovely Team!
Had a wonderful time with Smile Dental. I had an initial consultation last 1 Oct 2023 via whatsapp and answered all my queries.

1st visit Oct 29, 2023- Meet and greet at the airport and drives you to your hotel.
I met the lovely team and introduced me to the dentist and did some X-ray and discussed the treatment plan. They are transparent with the prices and payment. Clinic's equipment is top notch, modern and very clean. Pain is bearable but I dreaded the sensation from putting abutments in. Since I have been wearing dentures for quite some time, I had a bone graft inserted and it needs to heal first before placing the implants in.

No issues with the pain but I have some bruises and swelling that took 6-8 days before it disappeared but it is expected.

2nd visit Sept 15, 2024- Shaving the teeth, putting the dental implants, whitening and root canal. Pain is indeed subjective and for me it was 10/10. I was quite tearful during the procedure but Dr Mehmet is supplementing me with local anaesthesia. I dreaded the sensation and my gums are very sensitive. Tbh, it was quite long procedure and I'm glad that they had a comfortable waiting area and great driver that drives to the hotel and airport, felt like VVIP. No bruising after that but had some swelling for 2 days. no issues with eating and I was so happy with how it turns out! Advised to wear mouth guard for the first 6 months.

Had some photograph with my teeth before and after and indeed it was very beautiful.

Nov 9, 2024- Was on holiday and my teeth were chipped (grinding my teeth whilst asleep). I immediately contacted Peren and she sorted the schedule of my dental visit as I couldn't fly immediately due to work

3rd visit Jan 6, 2024- Meet the team and had some X-rays and discussed the plan. No pain but the sensation of removing the implants is awful. My gums are not sensitive anymore. New implants were fitted in by Dr Mehmet and had X-ray after.

Overall, I am very happy with the team, prices, experiences and outcome. They are transparent with your medical notes and you can ask for the copies of the procedure, breakdown, X-ray and photographs. They will ask for your permission before posting on their social media accounts. Disclaimer, please do your research as this is my personal experience.

"Better than I could have ever imagined"

I have wanted to get crowns on my teeth my entire life and I finally saved up enough money to get it done. I did a lot of research beforehand and Smile Dental Turkey seemed to be the most professional clinic with the best deal for the treatment. The communication via emails when we were still figuring out how we wanted to do thing was excellent, with very quick answers, and they were very accommodating to my flight dates and time and made everything work well. I decided to travel alone as a young female, which had me very worried, but I never felt safer. They picked me up from the airport, and any time I had to go back and forth between the clinic and the hotel, they would drive me. Even after my teeth got shaved down, they offered to drive me back so that I could relax in private for 2 hours instead of just sitting at the clinic, which I deeply appreciated. They would listen if I needed to be numbed down more, and everything was taken very seriously. I also had some issues with the money transfers where they again accommodated for me and helped me out. The end results were better than I could have ever imagined. The new teeth really suit me and look like how my teeth would naturally look like. I am so happy that I went through with the treatments, and my friends and family have all looked at my new smile and are now tempted to get it done themselves. I recommend this clinic 100%

My review is different to everyone else’s as me and my husband first came out to Smile June 22 and like so many of you had the best experience anyone could wish for. So our visit this October was for a scale and polish and I had a slight chip on one of my teeth (my fault entirely) we chose to come back for the treatment mainly because once you come out to Turkey for new teeth you are very much frowned upon in the UK for any sort check up plus it gave us a excuse to have a relaxing last holiday of the year.

It was like visiting old friends they greeted us with open arms and made our visit to the clinic just perfect. We will definitely have our check ups there again 😊

An extremely extraordinary experience I had at Smile dental.

It is amazing how they think of everything to make a visit or prosedure so close to perfect.

Explaining procedures and having real input.

State of the art equipment with extremely professional staff.

The dentists unbelievably professional.

The waiting rooms a great touch it helps you relax before the prosedure.

The prosedure painless again done by professionals.

The extra touch of not have to worry about transport having transfers great.

The communication before and after the trip.

The art work inside the building. I can go on and on.

I am going back in April to finish my prosedure and can't wait to see my new smile that I will have and can't wait to see everyone there again eager to help me achieve this goal.
