came to collect my Sharps box today but unfortunately I missed him as I was in a work meeting. He kindly rang me to let me know I had missed him but said he would see how he got on with his round and if he had enough power left in his electric van would come back later.
He kept me informed of how he was getting on and he came back at the end of his round - going out of his way to ensure he could collect.
nothing was too much trouble - he was courteous and he is a fine example of just who a delivery driver should be.
Thank you Gary for being a gentleman on Valentines Day!

He was polite, listened to me and understood my requirements as a result. He was thorough with explaining how everything worked and is clearly knowledgeable in his field.

Our experience with Stericycle (SRCL Ltd) has been a nightmare. The service they provide is appalling and absolutely not worth the extortionate costs they charge.
Firstly, they have repeatedly lied about collection dates, claiming they collected waste when they hadn't. In one case, they even falsified paperwork by signing under the name of one of our staff members when no one was on-site. This is unethical and deeply concerning.
As a smaller organisation, we can easily track the waste collected—typically only 2-3 offensive waste bags and 2 sharps boxes per month—yet Stericycle charges us around £170 per month. For larger organisations with higher waste volumes, this type of deceptive practice could easily go unnoticed. Who knows how often and on what scale this might be happening to other businesses? The lack of transparency and accountability is alarming.
Their communication is atrocious, with weeks-long delays in responding to emails. Their customer service is non-existent, and they show no commitment to resolving issues. Instead, they lock customers into restrictive contracts with severe penalties for early termination. While they cap waste collection fee increases at 7%, their "membership fees" can be raised at any time, without warning or limits, ensuring that costs continue to climb.
This company provides poor service, has dishonest practices, and exploits its customers. I would strongly advise any organisation to avoid Stericycle at all costs. There are far better, more ethical waste management providers out there.
Avoid this company like the plague!

Emmanuel Nwokoro was very helpful. I needed a copy of our contract for our new provider so contacted stericycle this morning. Within 20 minutes I received a call back from Emmanuel Nwokoro who advised me he was sending it across straight away - the email came through whilst we were still on the phone. Great customer service. Thank you.
