"Not great"

I have MasterClass and watch a lot of Food Network so was excited about another cooking series with top chefs. Unfortunately, I found the quality of the few episodes available so far underproduced, sloppily edited and cheaply executed in comparison to all other options out there. It seems like they rushed to get some out when they weren’t entirely ready to launch the program. I won’t be continuing my subscription.

"I love the concept but I just don't…"

I love the concept but I just don't think you all are "there" yet. I keep clicking on the site hoping for more content and there isn't any. I also think the actual site needs a bit of an overhaul. It isn't super user friendly, locks up on story. You all need an actual home button that takes the user out of the content and back to the main menu.

"Not loving this..."

Haven’t found this to be even a fraction as good as Master class or any of the free assets floating around cyberspace for cooks who want to hone their skills. I’m sure there’s some great stuff offered by your chefs, but after going through Nancy Silverton’s caesar salad, I have been disinclined to look much further. Give it another name...
I won’t subscribe again.

"The premise and the promise of what it…"

The premise and the promise of what it can be is amazing and I was really looking forward to it. The chefs themselves are amazing chefs, however, very few of them so far are actually teaching you. As an experienced cook and baker, I found many of them just difficult to follow. They don’t explain their process/ why they are doing certain steps. Example: Chef Nancy does tell you oven temps cooking times measurements anything. She leaves you primarily in the dark and you’re playing catch up and rewind. True- for her segment there are notes on the bottom of the page but to me that seems like an oh no add it in after cause we messed up moment. I have never been so lost in my whole cooking career. Chef Erez is by far the best chef you have on this program because he is clear, engaging, and brings you into his process. I need more of him. What I would like to see from YESCHEF is the following- you already have the raw material and the clear talent ... refine it, organize it, and make it assessable to the home cook who may not know why you place the eggplant on a tray on the oven floor (I know why but others may not).

"I totally enjoyed my first experience…"

I totally enjoyed my first experience with yeschef. The content is great, the app is easy to use (once you quickly get the hang of it). I felt like I was a special guest in Nancy Silverton’s homes. Looking forward to learning more about cooking from people who are passionate about their craft, as opposed to the repetitive, mind numbing shows on food networks - that teach only that you wasted your time. 😎

"Good concept but they haven’t delivered"

The concept is good but it feels like they have over promised and under delivered. I feel the initial price was high for the product actually delivered and had the impression there would be much more content when I signed-up. I hope it succeeds in the end but it has been disappointing for me so far.

I love the combination of the chefs' story and their recipes. Knowing more about the chef and his/her background makes the recipes even more interesting and delicious.

"Yes chef has good customer support but…"

Yes chef has good customer support but that is the only positive part of this review because the content is so limited it will only take you a short weekend to watch every video. This doesn’t mean that the videos are high quality though because it takes more than 3 or more weeks on average to convert the videos with color correction. I also haven’t seen new content for 3-4 weeks...
