"What a gem of a shop"
I live in Essex but was recommended by a friend who suggested a visit would be well worth the journey - it most definitely was! Having taken along my current machine which my local supplier had told me had nothing wrong with it apart from needing a new bobbin holder and different thread, the young girl was able to identify immediately there was something more serious going on. I had pretty much made up my mind to purchase a new machine anyway and received great advice with no pressure to buy. Various makes and models were unboxed and demonstrated to me with the pros and cons and I eventually chose a super new machine which arrived by courier less than 24 hours later. I'm over the moon - thank you!

I went in with my budget machine that I had dropped. I knew it was going to be the cost of repair vs a brand new machine.
The young lady who served me was fantastic. The engineers were at lunch and so I expected to have to return, but she had a look and spotted the problem straight away! The bobbin winder had been knocked into the on position and the bobbin holder snapped off- I hadn’t even notice. She raided another machine and fixed it there and then. She also spotted that my universal bobbins were not the best fit. The machine has been damaged by it adventure but should manage for a while more. I could not ask for a better service and when my machine dies I know exactly where I am going.

I have just received excellent customer service support from Tony at Sewing Machines UK.🇬🇧
Tony was so patient and helpful when dealing with an issue concerning my Juki DDl-8100e.
Tony knew exactly what the issue was straight away when I told him that I was getting skipped stitches intermittently when sewing.
Apparently I had put my machine needle in the wrong direction and that’s what caused the problem with my stitches.
I can’t thank Tony enough as he was so patient plus he called me back via WhatsApp video call to direct me how to position my needle correctly which has corrected the problem.
Now I’m happily stitching again thank you again Tony.
