"“Backordered” means “Discontinued”"
I ordered an item on Adorama. When I ordered the item their website said it was in-stock. A few days after my order was placed I received an email stating the item was on backorder. I did not mind and decided to wait a few weeks. After a few weeks went by I called Adorama and they informed me that the item was discontinued all together and that I would not be receiving the item I purchased. Obviously, this frustrated me as I had been waiting due to the item being in-stock and then being on backorder. They never communicated with me to tell me that the item was discontinued other than when I called. The customer service representative transferred me to a manager and the manager said that they would make the situation right. The manager told me they would call me back the following day but, unfortunately, did not call me back. I followed up with a second phone call and was told (a second time) I would receive a call back, but I never did. Due to poor communication and poor customer service, I would never recommend Adorama.

"Problem solved"
I placed an order on Adorama.com for a v flat. Adorama shipped my order without proper invoice information. Although UPS tried to contact Adorama several times to receive the proper documentation, the package was returned. I contacted Adorama, and after some insistence they sent out another v flat. Just like the first time, Adorama did not send proper documentation for customs, so my package was held up for days in customs. When I finally received my v flat it was damaged, and not usable.
Once again, I contacted Adorama, and I was told that another one would be sent out, and tracking info would be sent to me. After 24 hours, I received no email regarding the tracking and shipment info, so I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor told me they needed pictures and that another v flat would not be sent out until the higher management reviewed the pictures. It was then that I decided that I wanted a refund. They still have my money and all I have is a damaged v flat.
Note: I did email pics of my damaged item, and asked for someone to confirm that they were received and what the next steps were. I still haven’t received a reply.
UPS came by yesterday to pick up the damaged package but I didn’t hear the doorbell, so they left a pick up attempt notice. Besides, no one at Adorama communicated with me, that UPS would be coming by to pick up the damaged item.
Update: Adorama replied to my concern and the matter of the v flat, has been resolved. A new one is in transit, to me. Although I was disappointed, I am content with the outcome.

I wanted to make a trade deal against a lens I sent you.
Before I sent I was told I would receive about $ 4300 and then you estimated the value of the lens at $ 3010.
After I was offered new equipment at the place I was told that I could not get canon equipment.
I am very disappointed and will not recommend to my friends to make a deal with you.
