AVOID Hiyacar for Edinburgh. It very much feels as though multiple car owners have signed up to ‘test the waters’ without the actual intention of renting out their car: We had two confirmed bookings cancelled without explanation (one of which had previously encouraged us for our business) who then ghosted us when asking why they’d cancelled, and two non-responses, nearly ruining the holiday… Very poor indeed & caused a lot of stress. I would suggest only considering Hiyacar in Edinburgh if the ‘Instant Book’ option is available.
