"They should keep the order system on the till"
They should back to normal the service as pandemics situation are normal at the moment. You can't able to order over the counter anymore and you have to book the slot and pay online. I booked a slot for 16:00 however I came to collect my order reception gril telling me to come back after 15/20 mins. My order time was due and I came exactly 16:17 but I had to wait without any reson. Gril was giving me example If you have doctor appointment what do you do? Yah but this is not Gp or hospital and this example doesn't go with my situation. I used to do shopping for all of my restaurants from JJ but becouse of the system changed it's more difficult to order and deal with them. I don't recommend JJ anymore and I think they should come back to the old system.

Regarding to doner kebab and chicken ,, it is like mortadela meat it is processed meat not pure meat slices like supposed,, it have no onion to release the smell of not cooked meat and have very poor species..i not recommend it at all

"Couldn't recommend for residential"
Ordered 10kg if ribs, 5KG sirloin and 3Kg of ribeye to be delivered which for me was from the Doncaster location. Delivery was within the specified timeframe and the notification of the delivery was excellent.
What let the experience down was firstly the ribeye was not delivered and there was not even the courtesy of any communication to inform me of this despite being able to order from the website.
Secondly was the shelf life of the ribs, only 3 months of a 3 year window left. I guess this may not be an issue for a commercial environment but for a residential customer may be something you need to consider before ordering.

Damaged my store front sign. They agreed to pay the costs to fix it, but I’m still waiting. This happened in May, it’s now Sept. Customer service couldn’t have cared less. Senior management....there doesn’t seem to be any. Absolute joke of a business.

JJ’s Dagenham is a prime example how to alienate a and loose a customer. I booked a collection slot for 08:00am on Sunday morning, placed the order and paid online. So far so good, but when I got to the Dagenham branch girl at the counter told me that she can’t serve me as my order collection slot is for 08:30am. I told her that when I was booking it I booked for 08:00am and besides this there was only one more customer at that time, she point blank refused to serve me and told me to wait until 08:30 to pick up my order which I already paid for. When I asked her if I was to order over the counter would I be served, she said yes and I asked what is the difference than??? I said I can’t wait until 08:30 and I want her to cancel my order and refund me only after that she asked so called warehouse manager and he “kindly agreed for this time only”. I I will say is yes this time only probably the last time as I rather go to Holland bazaar or extra cash and carry
1- I don’t get to be told to wait 30 minutes even though there are no other customers
2- prices cheaper by almost 10%
3- I get to shop myself in my own time
After the reply I received I can confirm that this is not communicated to your warehouse and there is clearly a training issue, probably a quick training of your staff should resolve it, but this common sense approach should come from management down. When there is a single customer in whole warehouse there is no need for your staff to tell me to wait fir 30 minutes. I would appreciate if you were to say to me that “we will communicate this to all ware house staff and till operators so similar instances are prevented “ would be a more appropriate answer!!!! There is clearly a customer service issue in whole of JJ food service as this is not a first time I encountered a problem with your staff.

Only had 2 delivery's so far but will have more in the future..both times food was good as was delivered on time from friendly drivers . yesterday's driver Vladimir was very polite CHEERS !... UPDATE changeing my review after several weeks.. having just taken my kebab out of the box..I could tell something wrong right away...with the colour all Donna kebab meat is usually the same colour from most takeaways...But this one was very pale and looked like a giant bernard Matthews chicken joint...all Donna meat smells the same when cooking ..that lovely lamb smell......But this smelt sour with a hint of toilet duck !!.when meat was cooked.it was the same taste and texture as a very cheap chipshop sausage..It's the first time me and my kids didn't finish our kebabs even with lots of chilli sauce they still tasted RANK!...payed £37.99.for dog food because he will be finishing it...Now I checked the ingredients.. ONLINE it says..KISMET ANATOLIAN HALAL..LAMB 50% BEEF 30% BEEF FAT 5%.....NOW THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS ON MY DONNA MEAT LABEL..CHICKEN 50% BEEF 46%.MUTTON 4%....What... they are selling lamb Donna's with no lamb in...if it stated the right ingredients online in the first place..I would have never in a million years bought this !!.It's not even nice chicken they use in a proper chicken Donna.. usually leg and thigh meat..this was machanicly seperated.....Like what you get in tinned hot dogs..will not be using this company again while ripping people off..if I wanted horrible chicken sausage I would have bought a box for £8.00 and saved myself£30.00 .... REFUND REFUND REFUND .. reply to your comment it was not a bucket one..it was a 10kg that cook's on a rotisserie...and you do sell them to members of the public.. because this was my second Donna.. untill you've changed the meat content to save money....also you're delivery lorry came to my house not business..got pictures of the Donna if you want to see them !!!!

Arrogant customer service.
Horrible web design.
Unreliable company.
Always missing or wrong item delivery. sick-design online ordering. Helpless customer service. Basically they have no customer service.
My recommendation is to stay away from them and never come back again.
