"Easier to speak to robots"

done a online quote and was told to call, I did just that, once being on hold I was finaly able to speak to a advisor.. was extremely rude and wasted my time completely, by telling me he’s not even going to quote me after asking what prices I have already had from different brokers. And told me not to shop around. The point is he was rude and they clearly don’t want your custom. Won’t be trying them again in the future

"At last a modified Insurer"

Spoke to these guys for a quote and they were just as passionate as me about cars and they all own modified cars themselves! I was on the phone chatting for about 25 minutes and the customer service was amazing and the price was also very good. Will never be changing insurers again

"Greenlight are dinosaurs"

Rang green light and they wont insure my postcode i said why is that and he said its a really bad area and i said its not in the real world though and he laughed and went no i mean Liverpool in general is a really really bad area, very unprofessional operater and a company living on old statistics. Ive been driving for 14 years with no accidents and a clean licence, never made a claim against an insurance company and thats how im dealt with.

"I was basically lied to by Greenlight…"

I was basically lied to by a Greenlight adviser when I wanted to cancel my policy with them (as I'd sold one of my two vans). This has since been confirmed by another Greenlight adviser, although they describe it as 'incorrectly and badly advised'.

The end result is that I have had van insurance for two years, have had no claims/accidents/incidents but only have one years' NCD (No Claims Discount) to show for it!

Taking into account my age, driving record and maximum NCD for my other vehicles, the missing one years' NCD doesn't make a huge difference but another driver/customer may well have to pay considerably more for their insurance than they should actually need to.

I'm currently being advised by others in the insurance trade, that I should take this to the ombudsman so the matter may well not yet be over!

For now, Greenlight need to address their operating practises and simply cannot be trusted.

Friendly, Knowledgable and cannot do enough for you. The most personal insurance experience I have had and I have been with greenlight for 3 or 4 years now. No one comes close both with price and service.

Been quoted the cheapest I could find for my modified car, the staff are incredibly friendly and more than willing to help to try and get the price down. When it comes down to changing details like home address they waived any admin fees as a goodwill gesture, I'll definitely be staying with them for as long as possible1

"Excellent experience with Greenlight"

Can't fault my experience with Greenlight! Having a difficult situation where we are currently converting a van into a campervan to travel around Europe for the next 3-5months on a tight budget. The advisor was SO helpful and understanding, making sure to take all our personal circumstances into consideration. Also helped discuss ways in which we could reduce the cost of our premium.

All in all a 5* experience with Greenlight and I will (and already have done) recommended to family and friends... Had a few problems with some of the information and gaining proof of no claims from a previous insurance company, and a different advisor was also very helpful.

By far the best insurance company I have been with, so accommodating and understanding to our needs!!
