I ordered an accessory that had in fact been discontinued by Ford. I got a phone call from car accessories plus storesman to advise me of this but he still managed to pull out the stops to find me what I wanted and called me back 10 mins later to let me know it could be delivered to my local Stoneacre dealer as I'd requested. 3 hours later it was there ready to pick up. Thats what I call excellent service. THANK YOU.

"Alloy wheel order failed to arrived."

Ordered an alloy wheel from here in order to get my car repaired after hitting a pothole. Alloy wheel failed to arrive and no communication was forthcoming. Next day dispatch is clearly inaccurate in this case, however payment was promptly taken from my account. Shame that same promptness cannot be applied to the rest of the service. Will not use again.

Ordering process was easy, notification email stating item was ready for collection was good, that is when the problems started.
Arrived at Stoneacres in Peterborough to collect item only to find that completely the wrong item had been sent, was not even remotely like the item I had ordered. Then had to spend over 20 minutes trying to ring car accessories plus, was informed by the parts department person I collected the item from that it was my responsibility to contact car accessories plus to arrange a replacement item. On numerous times I got through to an agent only for them to hang up on me.
When I finally managed to talk to an agent they were really good, arranging to get the item returned and ordering a replacement item and then checking that the item was correct before dispatching it. Replacement item was supposed to be delivered to my home address but was sent to Stoneacres in Peterborough instead.

Good price and good service. Only down side was that when u have it delivered to a dealer there is no confirmation saying it is ready to collect so u have to track through royal mail, it would just be nice to have a confirmation saying it's ready to collect
