I've always had a great experience when ordering with sportfish, but I'd like to give a big shoutout to Josh Bunning. I've ordered through Josh each time purchasing from Sportfish, he's always been so efficient, knowledgeable about products and politest guy to speak too. I highly recommend when calling the shop to order, to speak to Josh, you'll have the best experience and fast delivery.

I bought Simms base layer trouser from Sportfish and the elasticity went.I informed them of this fault and was told to send them back and they would forward them to Simms which I’m led to believe is in America
Rather than replace them they insisted I wash them and send them to be inspected and pay for postage for inferior goods.I was made to believe by some muppet that I had put weight on and stretched them .When I informed him that I would have to wait on Simms decision I was told I would have to wait ,how long is anybody’s guess,meanwhile I will have to go and source another pair
This is a tin pot operation run by people who couldn’t give a damn regarding there customer

"Majorly disappointed"
I contacted Sportfish on Monday to check if I ordered a reel that it would arrive for Wednesday as I was booked on a trip Thursday. I was told that so long as the order was placed before 3.30pm then it would be sent out and would arrive by Wednesday. I ordered the item well before the 3.30pm cut off and waited until Tuesday morning to check the status of it. On Tuesday the order still said 'picking' on my Sportfish account so I called them to check what was happening. I was told by a very helpful lady that the item wasn't in the warehouse and therefore was coming from the shop. I advised that I would happily pay for the next day delivery to ensure I got it by today as I am away fishing from Thursday. I was advised that the item would be sent by DPD and would arrive with me by today, there was no reason for me to question what was being said so I left it there.
I then tracked the package this morning via the reference number from the Sportfish website to find that the item was sent yesterday at 17.59 with Royal Mail on a 48h delivery meaning that the items are currently sat in Birmingham and won't be arriving until Thursday or Friday, absolutely no use to me at all. Instead Sportfish have taken my money and failed to deliver on their word. If I had chanced this order in the hope it would arrive in time I wouldn't be so frustrated but, I have chased it up and been told more than once that the item would arrive in time.
I have called Sportfish this morning and spoken with Josh who basically told me that there is absolutely nothing he can do about the situation but that he understands as an angler that I must be frustrated. Unfortunately Josh's empathy does nothing to help my situation and the advice was to leave a review so, here it is.

My order was part shipped but charged in full and no communication of any sort. I haven’t had the missing items yet, but on contacting them I was treated very dismissively by them and told that “this is the way it is these days, and missing things will follow”. I will wait and see ! I should say the items that did ship came quickly.

"Very poor customer service"
I have had to contact sportfish twice to find out where my order is. Now they say that only part of it is on its way. I find it disappointing that when you place an order and it is in stock that you then have to wait for stock to come in. Surely once you pay, that stock should be allocated to the customer?? Very poor service.
They even sent the wrong item when completing the order.

I have had the need to contact Sportfish (Hereford) today regarding an issue with a Rio flyline - the reaction and service I received was excellent and beyond initial expectation, I cannot recommend them highly enough off the back of this.
