I appreciate very much how quickly Victor responds to my questions and takes action. He is kind, professional and prompt.

However, I've had a lot of problems with not finding out from BellMedEx that a patient's insurance is terminated or inactive for weeks and often months - which is a huge problem for the client and for me/El Sol. I have a patient who was using a new insurance for three months and we were billing weekly, only to find out at 3 months that this is not an insurance that will reimburse us. Now my client has to come up with a huge amount of money or I don't get paid at all, and we are forced to terminate after a years-long relationship because the patient can't afford to come up with the past due balance let alone begin to pay out of pocket. As soon as we submitted his new insurance I feel we should have heard whether it was a plan that we were credentialed with and that would reimburse us - three months of sessions without reimbursement is a huge burden to the client and to myself. This has happened countless times over my years at El Sol. Without knowing from BellMedEx or El Sol that there is an insurance problem I continue to work with and bill patients and then I don't get paid or the client suffers a huge hardship. I would really like to see a major improvement in this area. Thank you!
