"Bifold nightmare"
*Update*
As Ekco have replied I feel it's only fare to point out a couple of things, 1. The extension was in place when we bought the house as has been pointed out previously so I can't return to the building contractors, 2. You have still not supplied any fitting warranty in writing despite 2 requests, and 3." Upon review of your project we can see that we have been out multiple times to your project to reseal , refit and adjust your doors. We are extremely confident in our product and also in our fitting service which we are well renowned for across Scotland." I agree that you have been out multiple times to reseal, refit and adjust the doors, it's just a shame they are no better for it and the issue has not been rectified. I'm glad you're confident in your fitting service despite the fact after the most recent attempt I've been left with a gap in the frame that I can stick my finger in. You can dress it up any way you like but the facts are the facts.
After selecting Origin Bifold Doors i was introduced to this company by the Origin website as my local supplier. The doors were fitted in 2017 and all seemed good until the weather turned colder and I started getting condensation on the inside of the threshold and I noticed that the foam gaskets had shrunk. I called Ekco who replaced the gaskets under warranty and said that would cure the condensation problem. Unfortunately it didn't and the gaskets continue to shrink and have had to be replaced almost annually. I've had several different excuses for the condensation but in an effort to cure the problem the doors were removed and refitted in February this year which we hoped had done the trick but again as the weather turned the condensation came back, the foam had shrunk and I also noticed a gap between the threshold and the side wall had opened up and water was pooling on the outside of the threshold. This suggests to me that something has sunk so I again contacted Ekco who responded by saying as the doors had been refitted there was nothing else they could do and I've had too many visits so they would only come back if I paid a £250 fee. They were happy to order new foam under warranty but I either have to fit it myself, pay someone else or pay them £250. They now also say that the condensation could be caused by the construction methods of the extension and the foam shrinkage could be within tolerance. So if the extension is not suitable for the doors why was this not found on the initial survey or the initial fitment or even the second fitment? And why does the foam gasket manufacturer state that the foam will only shrink if it is incorrectly fitted or overstretched? I will not be paying these jokers a single penny more. The number of visits is down to the poor fitting and has been an ongoing issue from the start. I've requested a copy of the fitting warranty twice but been ignored both times and it is not available on the website, nor are they members of any trade association so you are basically at their mercy. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company, they may be fine when things are going well and they will happily take your money but when things go wrong they don't want to know (unless it can be fixed with a couple of cans of expanding foam and some silicone).

"Excellent after service"
Him, had EKCO out to repair a broken door brush and fit weather guard to door. We had EKCO install this several years ago.
Process to arrange was quick and easy and Karol suggested a better solution to brush which I was very pleased with. Nice job done and once finished asked if anything else needed to be looked at - nice surprise and Karol was able to resolve a loose screw on our back door.
Only reason for 4 stars, is that Karol was 90 minutes late to appt and with zero communication on this.

"EKCO bathroom design & Installation"
Two years ago EKCO designed and installed a new kitchen renovation with fantastic service and installed results. Recently I wanted to completely make over my main bathroom and although getting alternative quotes, really only considered EKCO for the project. Again the entire design and installation process was stress free with EKCO using high end products and materials. A minor issue with supplied wall tile size delayed the tilers, however, they recovered the lost time but still with excellent work quantity. Special thanks to Hollie (design) Geoff & apprentice (Installation) and Katie (PM). Delighted with the final installation, professionalism and service. EKCO may not be cheapest but ultimately you get what you pay for. Highly recommend EKCO

"Stress!"
Can’t recommend Ekco kitchens.
Too many issues to list.
They don’t accept responsibility for their mistakes.
Could avoided a lot of the issues by getting the measurements for the design correct.

"Efficient and quality service."
We approached 3 Kitchen design / installation Companies giving them our wishes and budget parameters. One company gave a quote well over our budget whilst the other two were competitive and within our budget. This gave us the opportunity to tweak things during the more detailed design process. We elected to go with Ekco as we thought the Masterclass Kitchen was of a better quality than the other options.
On finalising the final details we were given a proposed start date and schedule of works. This was generally adhered to and we were kept informed of any variations to this. The kitchen was actually finished ahead of schedule. The installation team of fitters, plumbers, electricians, and work top installers were all very helpful and polite and pleasure to work with.
We are very happy with the end result which makes the room look bigger and brighter, and includes several features and items which were suggested by Ekco and we thought would be beyond our budget. It makes such a difference to be able to work in a kitchen with adjacent utility room which is ergonomically laid out.
We would definitely recommend using Ekco for kitchen installations.

"Repair touch up kit.."
Having had Ekco install my kitchen last year it looked fantastic. Fast forward year and I chipped on of the drawer fronts and scratched another. Calum was quick to get me a touch up kit ordered as requested and had this sent out free of charge to my home address which was very much appreciated.

"Be inspired by their Bi-fold doors!"
My late partner and I ordered and bought a bi-fold door from EKCO 11 years ago. I'm now renovating my property and wanted to purchase another to match their quality product. Not only did they still have my order on record, they were able to match it almost like for like, supply and fit to my exacting requirements. The result is just perfect!
In my experience, this company consistently and diligently deliver to meet their customer's requirements. Superb customer service, from ordering to fitting. I wholeheartedly recommend their professionalism.
