Our flight arrival was 22:00 so I was nervous about finding the hub closed. I need not have worried as the pickup was waiting for us plus another couple. Took us to the office, completed the paperwork and off we went.
I would advise that you organise your own insurance to cover the insurance excess. I wasn't willing to risk having to pay an excess (up to €850) so opted for their policy, at around €22 per day.

Everything went well, just waiting time to pick up the car was prox 1hour , for the rest was everything ok, Nice New car, just tell also returning point is different, we were waiting in de line again of picking up.

Once I’d worked out where to pick up the shuttle, the collection of my car was easy. It was great that the return was on a road with plenty of petrol stations.

The only downside was that although o was told the car was clean. The interior was full of sand. This didn’t help as I was attending the wedding of my daughter, so my dress ended up with bits of sand in it

Everything was as agreed. we got a slightly bigger car, in the same range. Picking up and returning the car went smoothly.

It took a while to figure out how the foreign car rental world works, but I found Orbit Car Hire to score well on reliability. They offered me a nice deal for renting a car in Faro from Drivalia and I am very satisfied with the experience. I got a nice price for an "Intermediate Elite" car and additional full coverage was very affordable. Picking me up and dropping me off at the airport of Faro went quickly and my questions before and during the pickup were well addressed. Next time, I will not look any further and book at Orbit Car Hire again.

"Experiencia decepcionante: incumplimiento y falta de atención al cliente"

Reservé un coche con para recoger en el aeropuerto de Dublín el 19/07/2024. Debido a un retraso en nuestro vuelo, llegamos fuera del horario de oficina y les avisamos, sin recibir respuesta. Sin embargo, en el bono que recibimos se especificaba claramente que la reserva sería válida durante 59 horas tras la hora de recogida, lo que nos dio la tranquilidad de poder recoger el coche a la mañana siguiente.

Cuando llegamos a la oficina, no solo no tenían el coche que habíamos reservado, sino que tampoco había ningún vehículo disponible de la misma categoría. Esto resultó en la pérdida de tiempo y la necesidad de alquilar un coche en otra empresa en el último minuto.

Tras presentar una reclamación, la empresa respondió diciendo que el bono que nos enviaron contenía un "error de traducción" y que, en realidad, el coche solo se retendría por 59 minutos, no 59 horas. Este error nos generó falsas expectativas y causó enormes inconvenientes en nuestro viaje.

Lo peor de todo es que, tras semanas de correos de seguimiento, la empresa sigue negándose a ofrecer ninguna compensación, a pesar de que el error en el bono es totalmente su responsabilidad.

Si estás considerando alquilar un coche, te recomiendo que estés preparado para un servicio al cliente deficiente en caso de cualquier problema.

Espero que mi experiencia sirva de advertencia para futuros clientes

Excellent and efficient service. Vehicle was clean and well maintained. Not much of a wait time for shuttle bus.

"SCAM COMPANY"

I was happy until the login to account came through. I attempted to log in with correct details and all I received was an error message. After many attempts i finally got in to my so called account to find that my booking could not be found. I had made the booking several days prior to travel and fully expected a car hire so I read the reviews and my mind was put at rest. I constantly attempted to contact Orbit via email, phone and account log in to verify my booking and get details of the pick up. I arrived at my destination and still had problems logging in and phoning this company. I was now stranded with no alternative to hire a car at twice the price and still no contact from Orbit. I had given all my card details which is worrying, and understood I had car hire but this was not so. To date they have not taken any funds or attempted to contact me. YOU MUST NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES if you do then you may well end up in my situation. If you notice all the five star reviews are invited by Orbit so their must be occasionally success
