"Will never deal with this company again"

Purchased through Play.com Slamtech advertised and invoiced as follows:
GENUINE Apple charger plug adapter with lightning toUSB Sync/Charge cable for Apple iphone 5 5s 5c, ipod touch 5G ipod nano 7G-white
When I plugged the charger in I was notified from Apple that this was NOT A GENUINE
Apple charger
After being on charge overnight, only 48% charged
I rang Slamtech and asked them to send out what I had ordered, the reply was, once we receive the charger back then we will send out another. I asked if they could send one out and enclose a return addressed jiffy, as I didnt have another charger and need my phone. They replied saying NO because you might not return the first charger we sent to you.
Play.com have now returned the money to my bank
I have not had any emails from either slamtech or play.com, just left with a charger that now wont even charge.
Avoid this company and go onto google reviews.....NOT GOOD
I am passing this information and the charger too Trading Standards

"Beyond expectations after a rocky start!"

I purchsed a kid's talking photo album from Slamtech via play.com. It never arrived and after contacting Slamtech, they not only refunded the cost for the item but then also sent me a new one free of charge. Was never expecting that. Delighted and glad Slamtech has won back my trust. Things go wring, it's all about how you deal with it - well done, Slamtech, you did very well! Delighted!

"Will never deal with this company again!"

Purchased 3 x iPhone 4 chargers via play.com on the 30th October, one was immediately refunded to my account on the 1st November. I e-mailed Slamtech to find out why. no response, about a week or so later, I e-mailed again and it took them about another week to reply. They told me that they had no idea why one was refunded, it must have been play.com. But did not tell me why after 2 weeks that the other 2 had not been delivered. I contacted play.com who advised me that it was not them who refunded the order. I emailed Slamtech again to request a refund on the other 2 items and to this day have had no response. have had to raise a refund through play.com as they could not get a response from Slamtech either.
Utter farce of a company. Glad I had play.com to guarantee my order if you must deal with this company, do it through play.com or amazon. At least that way you're covered.

"Not sure what to think really!"

I ordered a grill from the company and it was stated I would receive my order within 4-5 working days. 5 days after ordering I e-mailed to ask when the item had been dispatched so I could try and make sure someone was home to take delivery. At first I didnt receive a repsponse so I found a number on their facebook page and phoned. The lady I spoke to was lovely and apologised that the item had not arrived yet but it had been dispatched, although she didn't give me a dispatch date which I did ask for. She did however give me a track and trace royal mail number which when I contacted royal mail they stated that no information was found relating to that number. The day after my telephone conversation I received a reply to the original e-mail I sent to slamtech and was told the item had been dispatched from their warehouse and to check with neighbours/post office sorting office in case it was there. Then bizarrely 2 days after I sent another e-mail asking for the dispatch date of the item I received the item I ordered but via Amazon.com, which was a couple of £s cheaper than I paid slamtech! So as I say, really don't know what to think. I have the item I ordered and even though I haven't used it because it came from Amazon I'm sure it is fine but the experience has been a first for me.....

"Alright, except for follow-up farce!"

I ordered a Universal Laptop Charger from Slamtech, and the product itself is good. But it never came with the cloverleaf power cable as they'd advertised - which I mentioned in my feedback review on Play.com. They then contacted me about my review, which I initially thought was a nice touch. They said they'd ship the cable out and it was an oversight on their part. First they said I'd need to pay shipping, but then they said they'd waive this cost and all I needed to do was amend my feedback on Play.com and give them a positive review here. I agreed to this, but have waited what is now a whole month before doing anything - and the cable has never materialized! So, it would seem that they tried to get me to give them a false positive feedback report on the promise of actually receiving my full original order! As I said, the product itself is good, and I would still have purchased it if they'd advertised that it didn't come with the power cable. But the follow-up farce has put me off of this company, especially as there's competition out there on the 'net with similar prices.

"Slamtech First Class, Royal Mail Bottom of the Class!"

The phone battery I ordered took more than two weeks to arrive even though posted First Class which obviously was not Slamtech's fault but was delighted with the communication until it arrived even offering me a refund or replacement. I'm glad I waited for it to arrive, everybody's happy now but if some good came of this wait it's kniowing that Slamtech have a good, honest and caring customer service. Thank you.

Quickly found what I wanted -- "Franklin Thesaurus" at Slamtech via Google search. Right product, right price, just a pity delivery let down by Royal Mail... 10 days! No fault of Slamtech who posted item promptly.

"Amazing Customer Service."

I made a mistake when ordering a new charger for my laptop and ordered the wrong one. I informed slamtech customer service and they were very polite in our exchange which they cleared up immediately. My new charger arrived quickly. Overall, even though it was 100% my mistake, this company had no qualms about sorting it out for me.

"Simply First Class !"

This has got to be the best company for customer service I have ever dealt with. I found the site during a random Google search for a laptop charger.

Within seconds of accessing the website I had the opportunity to "Live Chat" which is just what I needed as I required additional information about the product. Michelle was very helpful with my query and I was able to place an order straightaway. Delivery was prompt and FREE!

I had previously looked at another site and through their "Contact Us" sent 2 emails and waited a week for a reply - I am still waiting.

SLAMTECH certainly get full marks for the service I received. Well done!

"Phone Battery"

First battery never worked, but resolved and within days new one supplied. Slamtech even supplied freepost address for returns. Anyone can sell, but dealing with problems properly makes companies stand out.
