"Ordered a bench in April for delivery…"

Ordered a bench in April for delivery in May. No communication from company, chased and advised goods held up in shipping. Revised date advised. Revised date passed with no update. Benches then appear in stock with next day delivery. No update from company, no next day delivery, no apology. Very poor.

"Great Value Tub Chairs"

Just received an order of two tub chairs and I am very impressed with the quality and speed of delivery. Absolutely love the chairs and to not have to wait weeks is so refreshing.

"Would not recommend"

The colour of the chair that was delivered looked nothing like the photos (image is of the yellow angel chair). Edward Sloane was patronising and unsupportive. I returned the product at my own expense and had to chase them multiple times for an update on my refund. False advertising and bad service, avoid at all costs.

"Poor delivery service - read the small print!"

I can't comment on the quality of the chairs which I ordered from Sloane & Sons because I had to cancel the order due to delivery issues. Short read - please check the small print before you order and make sure that you can be available to answer the door for your delivery from 8am to 6pm - you will not get advance warning of a time slot or possibly even information that you have missed your delivery. And Sloane & Sons which charge you for returned deliveries.

Long read on my recent experience.
Sloane & Sons use TNT for the delivery - delivery was attempted on 24th January but as the buzzer for my apartment building isn't working I was not aware of this. I did not receive any communication from TNT or Sloane & Sons about the missed delivery. I tried using the online tracker to find out where my chairs were but I got an error message with the reference number provided. I used the Sloane & Sons webchat to find out what was happening - apparently I had to add a '0' to the end of the number. TNT couriers do not have company mobile numbers and so cannot phone or text to contact you when attempting delivery. And Sloane & Sons suggestion was that I leave a note for the courier to ask them to leave the chairs on my doorstep or give them my mobile number. Neither sensible given that my flat is in the centre of Newcastle. When I pointed out the poor customer service offered by TNT/Sloane & Sons the person who had phoned me said that he was going to cancel my order. I don't think they had been trained in customer services or possibly were having a bad day as they were very shirty and patronising. I'm not sure what anyone who had hearing difficulties or say took a long time to answer there door due to mobility issues would be expected to do in this case. Sit on their doorstep waiting for the delivery perhaps?

"Very happy customer"

If you're reading these reviews, after making an order - don't panic. I too read the reviews after making the order and started to panic, what have I done.

Here is my experience...

The ordering process was easy and super clear. The delivery was super speedy. And most importantly, the product was up to my expectation. It was very easy to put the chair together. The chair is perfect, the colour was to my expectation too.

If I was being picky, the packaging and instructions a bit sturdier - but I would rather have the chair for the price I paid, otherwise, better packaging and paperwork would only increase the costs.

Overall, a very happy customer.

"Perfect chairs for my little Cottage"

Perfect chairs for my little Cottage. Seems a few reviews on Trustpilot about this compnay but i would suggest (like others say) to look at ACTUAL reviews on other sites as the service I got was brilliant. Chairs arrived next day (no charge) and were ideal. I ordered a sample swatch (free) before hand and that make sure i ordered the the right Tartan.

"I am going to say i panicked when i saw…"

I am going to say i panicked when i saw these reviews.
The ordering process was easy, they arrived in two days with free delivery. The delivery Guy Fed-Ex/Tnt was lovely and the chairs were well packed, so well packed that it took me 10mins per item to remove it per chair so i cant fault them. The chairs are just what we wanted, not too expensive as the thought of spending over £300 a chair for the dogs to jump on was not happening.
They are comfortable to sit in and we are extremely pleased with our purchase.
Dont always go buy the reviews on this page look around there are lots of other great reviews about this company.
