"I loved my orca torch"

I loved my orca torch! I had the DC710, with the integrated USB charger and it was so comfy to recharge compared to charging the batteries separetly. Also the ajustable light intensiveness is nice (low and middle was enough for me) and the batteries lasted really long compared to other torches. So the torch alone is a 10/10 recommendation and i'd 100% buy it again. I addition the price is totally reasonable (especially compared to other scuba brands). I bought it directly from orcatorch (and not amazon) which i can also recommend. As i had some problems getting it started at first - which was my fault and had nothing to do with the quality of the torch - the customer service via WhatsApp was SO helpful and friendly and made sure everything works perfectly before letting me take it under water. Sadly i used it only twice because i was on the liveaboard boat that sunk in the Red sea in the end of november and with it all my equipment went down and is resting in peace 1000m on the ground of the sea. Anyway the two weeks i had it and the three dives i used it i loved it and as i'm slowly replacing everything my next torch will be the same model again.

I just complete my PADI Night ny diver specialty course in Bonaire. I have two orca torches. I can’t remember how many times I dropped, banged or mistreated them and they still functioned perfectly! I was surprised that that the small size would put out so much light. Great product!

"Bad torch harness and customer service. "

My wife bought me this torch last February. It's been a good torch but unfortunately last month the nut fell out of the harness and caused the torch to fall off and was lost. I have contacted Orca to complain but this far am being given excuse after excuse that essentially it is not their problem problem. I've even sent them pictures and the original invoice. I'm not sure if something's getting lost in translation but customer service is appalling as to be honest, is the torch.
