"Awful"

We booked to go to the outdoor cinema ‘Gin Festival’ with bring your own seats. It rained heavily throughout which drastically effected our experience. When we asked if it was still going ahead we were told it was, despite the awful weather. After having driven over an hour to get there i was very very disappointed that something else was not suggested, not even given umbrellas or a discount. As well as this, i believe it was very falsely advertised. The food and drink options were poor, the field was full of cow pat and the screen and sound systems were not of high quality. Very disappointed.

"Miscommunication"

The facilities, set up and film was as great as ever, however due to the lack of miscommunication between Nightflix and their customers, we arrived 2 hours 30 mins before the film was due to start! Originally the time on the ticket said 10pm start, but on the lead to the day we received another email confirmation to say that the timings had changed and been brought forward to 9pm - meaning plans were rearranged/ moved. When arriving at the venue, they had no idea the timings has supposedly changed and were not ready for us, leading to us not being seen for the first 40 minutes after arriving.

Terrible. Went to the 9.45pm showing of the conjuring and the film was so dark that you could hardly make out anything that was happening in the movie. Would definitely not go again. Waste of money.

"Poor customer service after paying for a gift card I still haven't received."

Ordered a physical gift card on 23rd March. Email confirmation states it would be delivered to my address in 5-10 working days. (I was pushing my luck but hoping it would turn up sooner as it was a late gift for a birthday on 9th April!) Nothing arrived but I didn't chase as I knew the turnaround stated was 5-10 working days. I emailed one month later on 28th April to ask where the voucher was as it had still not been received. Received a reply on 28th April to say vouchers hadn't been sent due to lockdown and they could instead issue a digital one. I replied the same day to ask if they could instead now just send the physical one as I'd still rather the physical gift card as it was a present. Not a fan of sending someone an email as a present. It's now 11th May and I've had no further answer or update and still no gift card. Their website has been updated to say that physical gift cards won't be sent until after 12th April (didn't state this when I ordered in March) and in any event the 12th April is now a month ago and I still have no gift card, no update. Sent an email to chase... again and have also messaged via social media where they seem to be able to post updates daily yet can't deal with customers emails/messages. Great service.

"Abysmal"

Abysmal - despite nobody having any sound, the film was started anyway. No communication about whether it would be restarted once it was resolved or whether it was being cancelled. After 20 minutes of mime and watching some poor lady perilously trying to balance some sort of antenna on top of a step ladder (which to be fair was far more entertaining), with two small and very frustrated children we ended up leaving. Don’t try and bother calling customer services, there’s no response. Just an utter shambles from start to finish.

"Dissatisfied"

I’m not usually one to write bad reviews but I’ve been twice now, both times were really disappointing...
Both times, they had technical difficulties and the film has been cancelled. I live 40 minutes from the Newark show ground so it’s not like it’s a quick journey either. Really disappointed and probably won’t be returning :/

"Absolutely fabulous experience"

Absolutely fabulous experience. My boyfriend and I went to see Bohemian Rapsidy tonight and it was just an all round wonderful experience. All of the team working there were lovely and really polite, especially the young woman at the entrance! It was easy to navigate our way around to the cinema and the food was brilliant. I don’t have a single thing to criticise, i would highly recommend this experience to anyone. We will definitely be coming back soon!

"Visited cinema at The Bowl"

Visited cinema at The Bowl, Milton Keynes. Easy access but would benefit from signs to direct to area being used. Staff very helpful asking drivers to turn lights off etc. Sound system was very good provided made the movie enjoyable.
