"Terrible service"

Terrible service! They actually delivered the wrong item and then didn't even seem to care when I said I wasn't pleased. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! THE CUSTOMER SERVICES TEAM ARE RUDE AND THE SERVICE IS APPALLING. ITEMS ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE NOT ACTUALLY IN STOCK. AVOID!!!!

"Worse company we ever dealt with"

* Sold us, and took payment for, products they never had in stock
* Mis-sold us replacements saying they were exactly the same, when they were clearly not
* Stored our card details without authorisation or notification (via SAGE Pay)
* 6 months after our first and only online purchase from PureGusto, SAGE Pay have just contacted us telling us that they are now trying to setup a direct debit on our bank account!

Buyer beware..

"***Shocking response from Online Support***"

Purchased a Jura Cool Control 0.5l back into March from Puregusto and as you would expect delivered really quickly and the product has been great.

I look after the product meticulously, however after 4 months since purchasing the plastic casing around the unit has come off, as it is quite thin and I don't believe it has withstood its normal operational usage. Naturally I contacted Puregusto regarding this as its not even 6 months old only to be meet with a very dismissive and unhelpful member of staff who simply said is nothing to do with us speak to Jura and they will tell you the same thing.

Quite frankly never see such appalling and dismissive customer service!!

[12:30] V1502108657045491: I ordered the Jura Cool Control, unfortunately it appears to have developed a fault in that part of the plastic surround where the metal clips lock around the Milk jug has broken away when securing it back on. It appears to be a bit of a design issue with repeated use this would appear to weaken the plastic.

"Seems im not the only one to have issues with delivery"

I dont get it. How the hell can you actually mange to deliver something 6 to 10 business days after you have marked the item dispatched. It must be so expensive to actually delay a delivery for such a long time. Thank about that for a minute - how would you actually delay something for 5 days short of filling a warehouse with day 1 another with day two and so on till you the decide warehouse one has been delayed enough !!

PurGusto - the Coffee I get from you is the best I have found but how the hell can I recommend the sheite delivery service.

O the other hand if PureGusto are marking the goods as shipped, then taking your money but not really shipping the goods for say one week ... well now we enter a completely different scenario call fraud. It is illegal for Puregusto to charge your credit card before they ship the goods in case you did not know.

Readers, the only real way these items can take so long is if PureGusto are not actually shipping when they say they do and sadly we must ask Amazon to look into this on the basis they are bringing Amazons name into disrepute.

So PureGusto - we are on to you. Sort out your dispatch or explain why you are taking money up front and not shipping till later date.

"I will never shop with Pure Gusto again!"

My favourite tea was discontinued by Twinings. After a long search last week for Twinings Intensely Buttermint Tea, and cancelled orders due to no stock, I placed an order with Pure Gusto - 24 boxes at £2.50/box. That was last Tuesday (13th). I went onto their live chat on Friday (16th) to be told initially there was no trace of the order, I sent a print screen of the paypal payment & was then told there was a delay with the courier & would be delivered that day or Monday (today). Still no parcel today so I rang them - to start with, I was told again there was no trace of the order then was told the order had been cancelled due to no stock and my payment had been refunded to Paypal - which it hadn't, & no emails received! He had no idea why I was told there was a courier delay but will look into it. Really disgusted with the lack of efficient customer service from such a well known company!
Oh, & they now have them listed at £7.49 a box despite telling me there is no stock!
This whole thing really stinks & I would not order from Pure Gusto again if you paid me!
Meantime, another week has gone by & even less chance of finding any stock anywhere!

"So so service"

Ordered 100 individual packs of coffee and paid extra for expedited delivery.
Order was delivered when we weren't in and the courier just threw the box over the locked fence - it was split with some coffee bags on the floor, good thing it didn't rain until we found them (I know this is a subcontractor but they were selected by Puregusto - I notified them but they did not seem interested).

Best Before End (BBE) of all packets was within 2 weeks from the receipt day.
Someone at Puregusto advised that they had to put BBEs that are within 12 months of the coffee being roasted for statutory reasons but that the coffee would be good for another 6 months after that. I was offered a choice of a £5 refund or product swap. I opted for the latter and was told to call the following week when I was available to make the swap.

Second person I spoke to said the coffee would be good for 2 years after the BBE (so is it 6 months or 2 years?) and also offered a small compensation if I accepted to keep the bags.
I had them swapped and the new batch has a BBE that is 3 months after the delivery date, still meaning I would have to use the product daily to make sure it would be all consumed before the BBE which just won't happen (to Puregusto's credit the coffee bags were swapped the day after my call).

Not too impressed with this and having paid for fast delivery when I ended up having to swap the product.
Incidentally the coffee tastes good but I wouldn't use them again.

"I am so disappointed!"

I have had the worst experience of this Company. l hate writing bad reviews but l feel compelled after the exasperating and incompetent way in which my order has been dealt with. They have caused me unnecessary stress and upset as l am a new customer just starting out in my venture and without going into the indepth detail they shipped a batch that was faulty so it didn't get delivered in the 2 days it was promised. Even though l have rang everyday they failed to contact me when they couldn't fulfill my order again, because they had input my details incorrectly even though the details supplied over the internet order were correct, so they were ringing the wrong number...why didn't you email? I have been forced to buy a product from Macro at a higher cost and not at all how l wished to present my product. They have made no effort to try and rectify their mistakes and fulfill my order and provide me with any compensation for the disaster. I am disgusted and appalled that they think this is acceptable, it's Companies like this that cause people like me to go under before l even get off the ground. It won't end here l will be writing a formal complaint when the stress of this weekend is over! Can you tell l am angry?!

"Good coffee, poor customer service"

I had been using Puregusto for just over a year for coffee pods. The coffee is good - no complaints there - but the delivery and customer service is awful. Last delivery was again left outside in the rain and on this occasion on top of the dustbin. Unfortunately we did not discover the parcel for a few days so it got a thorough soaking in the rain. Tried to get some advice from Puregusto if the pods were still safe to use, but no reply after 7 or 8 emails. Unfortunately as the pods finally went mouldy on the outside (probably due to the external packing material) we threw the lot out. Only response I ever got was some 2 months later (after asking for the 6th time to be removed from their mailing list) assuring me that the pods were sealed - not much help when the outside had gone mouldy! It would have been good if they had simply bothered to respond to one of my many initial emails. Now use new company (found on Amazon - excellent coffee, customer service and cheaper.

"Worst experience ever"

I ordered a bulk load of Spiced chai latte which was on the companies website but when I received the item it was made by a totally different company. I phoned Puregusto and told them that I had received a different item to what I ordered and they advised me to try it and if I didn't like it I would receive a FULL refund. When I tried the item I could taste a completely different taste to the one I norally buy for my shop, I then got back in contact with the company and told them that I didn't like the chai latte and would like a full refund only for them to tell me that I wouldn't be refunded for the one I opened. I had only opened one because I was advised to and told that I would receive a full refund if I was satisfed which I wasn't in the end. The company also arranged for the rest of the items to be picked up from my shop to be returned to them but never came and I had to kept phoning everyday only to be told each time that tomorrow someone was coming and this went on for 5 days. Overall absolutely ridiculous company with appalling customer service. They have lost an expensive customer as I order in bulk everyweek for my shop. I am now with nextdaycoffee and I couldn't be happier!
