The order was delivered promptly and the condition of the meat products was superb due, very much, to the first class packaging in which it had been transported.
The quality of the venison was outstanding. The loin was pan-roasted with rosemary, garlic and butter, cooked rare, and served with savoy cabbage and roast new potatoes. A red wine, port and redcurrant gravy finished off the meal. My 91 year old father-in- law concluded that it was the finest venison he had ever tasted. He couldn’t wait to FaceTime his sister in Canada to tell her how good his meal had been. Praise indeed… but the real credit should go to the venison and those at Deer Box who made it possible.
