"Late delivery and meat arrived thawed "

The delivery was delayed and arrived three days late. It was despatched on the Thursday as requested, and due to arrive on the Friday before Christmas. DHL emailed to say it would arrive around 6pm. Later that day I got an email from DHL saying it was delayed and would be delivered on the next working day. It was then delivered the following Monday (23rd December). Since the meat is sent frozen and the packaging is designed to keep it frozen for up to 48 hours this was not acceptable. When it arrived, the meat was cold but was thawed and the ice packs inside were also thawed.

The packaging was absolutely amazing, the box was well insulated with lambs wool and the frozen sausages of ice in sealed plastic sleeves were extremely effective.
I cannot comment on the meat as I have not tried it yet but in my experience anybody who goes to that much trouble with the packing must be a good allrounder.
