Communication was good and fairly constant. It also happened relatively quickly, with offer to completion taking 9 or so weeks.

Unfortunately many questions weren't answered which caused me to have to ask repeatedly. I also found that much of the process ended up being extremely rushed at the end, with important information not being given to me until the last minute or me having to double and triple check certain things that the solicitor wasn't sure of. Communication between the seller's solicitor and Hodders Law was also very frustrating, with the seller and I often having to speak to each other in order to nag our respective solicitors. For these reasons, the completion date that we had had agreed and set since the very beginning of the process was changed 3 times.

I found it took up a lot more of my time than I would have hoped, considering it was a very simple transaction. I was also sent 3 different versions of the completion statement after they had been calculated with the wrong mortgage amount, which has meant I've had to quickly hand over another £900+.

Hodders Law was suggested after I got a quote online for cheap and fast conveyancing, so I guess I should have expected this. In the future however I will definitely be using a company that has been recommended by friends or independent reviewers.
