"Appalling customer service"
Sent emails requesting to purchase the IOSH Working safely course for four colleagues in November 2022. No response. Chased two weeks later, no response. Chased two weeks later, no response. called up today to speak to someone and was told that the reason for non response was that staff took Christmas holidays (last email chase was sent on 08/12/2022). Then asked to resend my emails again and someone would get back to me. Copied in every other email address I could find (events/membership/policy) to hopefully get someone who could help me and yes, you guessed it, no response. I've never worked so hard to spend money in a business before.

"DSE Risk Assessment"
I purchased 2 of the DSE Risk Assessment courses for my team after reading the course content and shopping around. We were looking for something in depth that would cement their knowledge so they could assess staff workstations. Having already done a basic course which we include for all staff I was disappointed to receive the feedback that this course was really poor compared to the one they had already done which was better (and when purchased separately to our subscription about 5% of the cost!). Not only that but the exam had content not covered in the course. I sent my feedback and received a very disappointing reply which said they would give me 50% off when they had released an up to date version of the course in a year's time. Overpriced and really not worth the money at all.

"A fair process"
The process was exacting, comprehensive and thorough, but nonetheless it was a fair process. It was made very clear what to do at each stage, and all of the information needed to respond appropriately was provided during the course. The only slight criticism I have is that the need to complete a second stage, involving a specific project example, wasn't made as obvious as it could have been.

Great customer service throughout the process. Booking the course was easy, the content was informative and delivered well. Booking the exam was simple through the customer service team. Would definitely recommend and I will be using them again.
