"Only way to get promised cash!"
Travel December 2019 delayed. Claim agreed/refund on its way 09/01/20. After much hassle still no refund June! Ombudsman contacted company on 02/06/20 and cheque issued 04/06/20. Nothing else seemed to work - so grateful.

"Service is a joke"
Your claim to offer “ expert service” their so called vision is to “inspire customer confidence and to deliver our service fairly”
What a joke. I replied to an email on my morning break. But because i didnt respond to your next email in a few hours, because i work, because i couldnt take a lunch break, you have closed my case?
Im claiming because i paid for a service i didnt recieve. I work, im limited on time.

"Great Service"
I submitted a complaint to a large train company and heard nothing from them within the 8 weeks. I decided to submit my complaint to the ombudsman and as soon as they took ownership of the case and sent this to the train company, I received an extremely generous offer within two weeks.
For the review saying that the ombudsman wouldn't review due to being out of scope, this is the case for many ombudsman services as they cant always help! Don't let it put you off trying though because they remain fair and impartial and will look at your case where they can!

"Out of Scope"
I complained about being put off a train whilst holding a valid ticket for the journey, which I produced when asked.
The ombudsman has decided my complaint is outside their scope.
Why do they exist ? Who pays them ?

"Not good at all"
Resolved an issue... in favour of the Train Operating Company despite clear evidence of the failure to abide by National Rail published Ts & Cs. They then had the Ts & Cs retrospectively changed (!) to fit the TOC's case - although even then the TOC still had failed to act in accordance with these revised terms. Unfortunately, I can only conclude that the train companies are calling the shots.
