To be frank, the service i've received from the team at CT has been fantastic. i was at first hesitant using a new retailer but the quality of the advice i received over chat and the brilliant pricing immediately inspired confidence, leading me to place an order on a grade B ultra-book which upon arrival (prompt next day) was both very well packaged and in a particularly fantastic condition.
My laptop was set up out the box and ready to use. aside from minor marks on the shell the interior is in perfect condition. the sales advisor i spoke to over chat helped me with all my warranty information (which is again impressive).

Quick delivery and product in perfect condition. I didnt get an order confirmation direct from cruise tech, only the payment platform so deducted one star.Small point but it would have been nice to get confirmation and shopping info direct and not from 3rd party suppliers.

The good: I saved at least 25% off the normal purchase price of an equivalent spec machine direct from HP (which wasn't available at the time anyway), for an apparently unused device although not new in box, with very prompt, well packaged delivery.
The bad: A subtle memory fault became apparent a couple of weeks later. The HP technician resolving the problem said there were clear indications somebody had taken the machine apart before (a ZBook 15 requires a lot of taking apart to get to the factory memory). This makes me suspect somebody had discovered the fault before and not fully fixed it, although it only required one new DIMM to sort it out.
The reason I'm not marking it lower: All the remedial work was covered under the HP warranty with onsite service, so I still have an excellent machine for a bargain price at the end of it all, I hope. I didn't have to use Cruisetech customer service, so can't comment on that.

Bit nervous have never used CruiseTech before but that was misplaced. Had exactly the spec I needed at a great price. Laptop was better than expected being well packaged and delivered quickly (even with the Covid stuff going on) great comms too. Thank you.
