never trust city removals. They were ok with the move but tried that day to extort extra money from me for an agreed job. Unfortunately I made the foolish mistake of forgiving ALEX THE BIG BOSS who even his staff make fun of (which I found out later). I had booked storage space from him at an agreed cost and an agreed return fee. Not only did he not return all my items but he raised the fee and they refused to pay. Also do not TRUST them as they tried to give me someone else's boxes, which I was too honest not to take...unlike them. They charged me almost £300 and did not deliver my stuff.

From dealing with my initial enquiry right through to end of delivery this company were superb!.. The removal guys were polite and quick and not once did I think negatively about them. As for the cost of removal it was very competitive. I highly recommend this company.

The service I received for the price I paid was excellent, moving full content for 2 adults and 1 child from flat (North London) to storage (East London) and then on to new home (Essex). I had 2 different teams and both worked exceptionally hard, quickly and efficiently, whilst making sure everything was well packed and looked after, a really professional service. I was particularly impressed how they found both locations on time (something very few have managed, as neither appeared on sat nav) and that my new home was on a muddy building site and not a speck of mud to be found on my new carpet after everything was unpacked. I am always recommending City Removals to friends & colleagues.

City Removals moved us from two places in different counties to one house on the hottest day for 10 years. They worked really hard, were polite, organised and nothing was too much trouble. Not a thing broken, it was the easiest part of the whole house moving experience by far! Would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the second time when we have used this company and they have been just as good as the first time.We have now moved back to our newly refurbished house after spending the last 6 months in a rented property.
We specifically asked for the same team and they provided the same men.They made the whole move incredibly fast and easy.I guess having the same team made things that little bit easier as they knew what our requirements were.
Also whenever we had a query In the lead up to the move Ioana in the office was very helpful and also the other ladies whom i spoke to.
The whole move was very well organized and everyone we spoke or dealt with did their best to provide us with their best service.
I have already recommended them to my sister who has already been visited by their surveyor and is now waiting for their quote.
Fantastic service all around.I won t surely be moving again but i would definitely recommend this company

"Perfect - moving isn't stressful at all!"

A few weeks after our move, we are still struck by the superb service we got from City Removals. Their estimator was by far the most professional of the estimators we saw, checking every nook and cranny to be sure there would be no surprises on moving day, and giving us plenty of good advice even before we had chosen our preferred removers. This continued through the weeks before exchange of contracts, with plenty of advice and reassurance from whoever happened to answer the phone when we rang. Then when it came to moving day, the four men who came were bang on time, were very polite and friendly, then worked hard throughout the day to move us out (4 bedrooms, fully furnished) and into our new home, with a 3 hour drive in the middle, double-checking with us that everything was in the right room before they left. All in all, City Removals were consistently professional and efficient and we really can't find anything to complain about.

Can not fault City Removals at all. They arrived early; loaded everything up (which at one point we started to worry if it would all actually fit) and they got us to our new location with no fuss, breakage or frazzled nerves. Best value and brilliant service.
