Maggie is awesome. We had two broken support arms on our ancient Kingsley Bate umbrella. Kingsley Bate told us we were out of luck. So we called Maggie and within moments she called us back with the part information, in stock status and pricing. We received them in a timely manner, installed them and presto, our umbrella is as good as new!

I began looking for patio furniture, locally, in early fall. I found a lot of sales and some nice furniture but the sales people were just that... sales people who didn't know a whole lot or spend a lot of effort. What's worse, the sale prices never seemed to add up and delivery charges pushed me to look online. I found Frontera.com where they stocked the whole line of Kingsley-Bate furniture, at a fantastic price. Being a little skeptical, I called their customer service and spoke to Maggie who answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. She had a set of Kingsley-Bate furniture herself and worked directly for the manufacturer in the past. She wasn't pushy and took time to explain the product, shipping and return policy. Maggie also sold me on the teak sealant (to prevent stains) and the Electro-polish (since we live in Seattle about 1.5 miles from Puget Sound); I didn't feel like it was an "up-sale" since I could tell she cared about my customer satisfaction and product quality. (We even exchanged a few photos of our dogs via email throughout the process.) My partner and I waited about four months until the shipment arrived, via freight, on the scheduled date and time. There was no damage and the furniture was easy to assemble with a screw driver and rubber mallet. The electro-polishing looks amazing and the teak is smooth and solid. I couldn't recommend a better online company! I'm also excited to spend our bonus points on a second bistro/bar table. Thank you Maggie! "Rocker - natural oil - very good rocker, but difficult to assemble"
The rocker arrived well-packed and in good shape. It is handsome and comfortable and well-made, a quality piece. The instructions are good. But I found it very challenging to assemble, even though I am an experienced furniture builder (cabinets, tables, benches, bookcases, and the like) with lots of woodworking tools. The main problem is that the pilot holes are inadequate. I stripped two screws (one very hard to replace) before deciding to drill my own pilot holes. Also try as I might I could not get some joints to fit quite as tightly as I like. Nevertheless, the joinery is strong, the parts are well-made, and I like the rocker a lot. The wood is finished for outside use, so plan to varnish it if you want a more polished look and feel for inside use.

"quality control asleep at the wheel. Customer service very nice."
Very disappointed in our purchase - "some assembly required" was A LOT of WORK. Manufacturer drilled one hole at wrong angle and we had to hire a carpenter to repair it. Customer service offered to replace the chair, but chair would not have come in time for gift giving. We opted to take the partial refund, to cover cost of carpenter, wood finish cover up, and we didn't want to do any more assembling.

Really like this company's customer service. It's super easy, fast and friendly. but it took like 18 weeks to get my chairs. They told me ahead of time, but still. Ugh. Way too long.

"Perfect wicker sofa"
After seeing the Kingsley-Bate Sag Harbor sofa in a store on Long Island I scoured the internet to find it at a lower price. I came across the sofa I wanted for substantially less at Frontera. Ordering it was a breeze and it was delivered in a timely way. The gentlemen who delivered it were very kind and helpful. It looks perfect on our enclosed porch and is so comfortable we've nicknamed it "the napping couch." Would definitely do business with Frontera again~
