"Don’t buy Eastbrook products"

Don’t buy Eastbrook products! Very poor after service and quality of their products when patently something wrong with their valves. Despite engineer visit saying water supply ok and fitting ok and heat of water ok they will not respond. They now want to blame it on hard water despite a water softener combimate in situ and installed before the new showers were installed. They tried to say I hadn’t had the combimate serviced. Not sure that was a requirement I had to fulfil to have an Eastbrook product??? As it happens I had proof it was serviced but customer service tried to use the date of installation as the date for servicing!!! Even then that was only 18 months ago and three valves have been faulty in that time. My plummer has refitted replacement valves in his own time but he has now said that he is going to have to charge me for the extra work. The valve has now been examined in situ by Eastbrook engineer then had a rubber washer of sorts break when removed by said engineer and it has been left now taped up as a temporary repair by the Eastbrook engineer. Now chasing up but they won’t get back to my supplier or me! The valves are not fit for purpose I want the situation resolving. If I could give no stars for the company I would. This is not what anyone should find acceptable. I am advising my suppliers that they should NOT continue to recommend Eastbrook products or sell them!

"Shower tray in wrong packaging- inadequate response."

I bought a showe 700 x1000. All the labels on the packaging stated 700 x1000. So we checked them in. It was only when the plumber came to fit it that it became clear that the tray was actually 800 x1000 and did not fit. The company would not replace it the next day and the plumber said he would lose work and would have to charge us for that loss of work.
In desperation my husband had to travel to Tewkesbury there and back in one day from North Wales nearly a 7 hour tound trip to exchange the tray. We have had no apology and no compensation from either One Stop bathrooms or Eastbrook.

Lack of care, no empathy and no capacity for responding quickly.

"Avoid"

I purchased and fitted the Square concealed thermostatic double push button valve 93.0093. It constantly dripped (like a dripping tap) I was sent new flow cartridges (which did nothing) I was then sent a whole new valve. It did exactly the same thing. It was a pain removing a concealed shower twice! Awful quality and poor brassware. The awful quality matches the awful aftersales who have not been very forthcoming with providing a refund for all my time spent ripping out and replacing the shoddy units. I swapped out to a Flova push button shower control which is very good quality and I can throughly reccomend

"Shockingly bad support"

Well, as least they aren't pure scammers but the support was unbelievably poor.

They refused to accept responsibility for a faulty oil seal which resulted in an oil leak unless we proved that the totally unrelated non faulty didn't have a problem wall socket power plug had been wired by a "certified" electrician. They did offer a replacement "as a gesture". We went with a return and refund but then stayed in 9am-5pm waiting for collection 5 times before I gave up on them.
