My name is Teresa Barnes I took my Jeep to Cottman Transmission back the beginning of July 2018. After a thorough examination found out that my transmission definitely had to be rebuilt. The customer service here was excellent they work with me giving me time to come up with the money that it was going to take to repair the transmission. My vehicle already had like a hundred and eighty thousand miles on it at the time it was taking to Cottman. I am far from being rich so it took me about 6 weeks longer to be able to come up with the money to pay the transmission off as of August 24th 2018 I was able to go in pick my vehicle up and immediately drove it on a 200-mile round-trip. My vehicle is running and shifting better than it has in the entire three years I've owned the car previous. Jodi and Brian are outstanding dealing with customers. They did exactly as they told me being men of their word they told me my Jeep would be ready the Tuesday before the 24th so that they could drive it around test it and make sure that everything was okay my jeep has shifted like a brand new car the entire trip down and back from Charlotte. I personally would recommend Cottman Transmission on University Parkway in Winston-Salem with Jody and Brian being the employees there to anyone with any kind of problems with their transmission these young man know what they're doing and do what they say I believe in treating people like I want to be treated and so do these fine young men at Cottman they are men of their words they did exactly as they told me they would do and having my vehicle ready on time and I greatly greatly appreciate that would recommend again to anyone.

Dropped off on a Saturday, didn’t schedule with them just dropped it off. Monday they called me with an estimate, Friday the entire transmission was rebuilt, new torque converter, everything re-installed and ready to go. Great experience. Runs great.

Had warranty work done. Made an appointment but due to shop's busy schedule it didn't make any difference. Then unfortunately, the mechanic was injured during the repair and it was then delayed several more days
which made it about one week to get it fixed. Manager was as frustrated as I was but nothing else could be done ..They did make the repairs needed.

Cottman had repaired my Transmission in Oct 2018. March 2018 front differential failed . I thought is was transmission (which was on warranty) so I had car towed to Cottman in Winston Salem from Asheville. Thank God I had AAA plus. I questioned weather differential was part of transmission and was informed it was not even though Front diff. is attached to the transmission. Took them over 2 weeks to repair car. I was told I would receive phone calls from them and never did and was lied to about when car would be ready twice.
