The owner of this company - Tony / Dr Banwo - sold me a used Ford Focus through another of his companies - Automotive Solutions 365, which turned out to have a major engine fault. The registration was BP62 AWN. It may have originally belonged to one of the reviewers on here, who sold it to Dr Banwo as a 'write-off'. Dr Banwo collected the car from the garage that diagnosed the fault, but then ceased all contact with me (back in July 2024) and has never returned the £2990 paid for the vehicle a few weeks earlier.

guaranteedcarbuyers.co.uk is another of Dr Banwo's companies, which deals in the purchase of faulty cars / write offs. All of his companies, including a holdings company he will be using to protect his assets (Pavilion Cornerstone Holdings Ltd), can be found on the companies house website - see Olatunde Olufemi BANWO. From information provided by Autotrader via a Freedom of Information application, Dr Banwo is currently selling cars from a new address location - Rear of 14 Coventry Street, CV2 4LZ. One of his newer companies - Strat Solutions Ltd - claims to be an IT company, but there is no trace of it aside from the companies house registration. His wife, Ozavize Oine Banwo, claims to be a business analyst working for Strat Solutions Ltd on her linkedin profile.

It's a pity Companies House enables people like the Banwo's to freely engage in this type of illicit criminal activity through maintaining several companies to facilitate their purchase, fabricated MOT and re-sale of dangerous vehicles to the public. Dr Banwo's activities are currently being investigated by the National Police Action Fraud team.

"They DO haggle the price"

Be aware - they broke their much advertised promise and haggled hard. They tried to offer me nearly a thousand pounds less than their guaranteed price (on a £3K car!). I'm very disappointed as I did not fail to disclose any damage or issues with the car, so believe I met your terms and conditions for the 'guaranteed' quote.

Really friendly man arrived to take photos and send them across, it wasn’t long before I got a phone call, asking a few more questions, then they said they’d put the money in my account. This was the only little let down, as it took about 50 minutes to receive. Other than that a really good experience and everyone was nice who I dealt with.

Couldn’t make the first appointment but gave me plenty of notice, re arranged for Saturday, driver came dead on when he said he would.

Couldn’t take the car away that day as he was busy but gave me the quote offered minus 200 pounds which was my own fault for not declaring certain information. Was due to pick it up the following Tuesday but couldn’t make it rang me Tuesday to tell me and paid me for the car even thought they hadn’t collected.

Came the day after to get the car was an hour late but again let me know with plenty of time, took 5 mins to load the car and sign some documents. Driver who came to collect my car was lovely and brilliant with my little boy.

Will 100% use again.

Great experience selling my car to GCB today. Easy to do. Went online, filled in a quick form, got my quote, which was far better than a lot of the bigger car buying companies. Chose a time/date for collection, 2 nice chaps turned up with a car transporter, after taking some pictures and confirming the paperwork was in order, that took about 30 mins, the price that I was quoted online was transferred straight into my account, and they took the car away. Couldn't be simpler.

I sadly had to sell my car today, guaranteed car buyers made it stress free for me and easy, after an initial phone call to set up a date and time to collect the car, I simply met with the man who took my car away from the garage where it was stationed due to being non drivable. He took a few photos and looked over my paper work and keys, I had a few phone calls with one of the guys back at the office to confirm my bank details and discuss a few things about my car. Unfortunately the payment wasn't exactly what ild been first originally quoted, but that was due to a few things regarding my car, so the price was dropped by over £300 but this company had still beat all the othet companies and had the better offer. I liked that the money was transfered straight to my account with no issues and before my car was taken away. I felt very at ease throughout the whole process. Thank you.
