"lovely weekend away"

We arrived quite late on a Friday evening and found a warm welcome from all , Was directed to one of the rooms at the rear of property was a well equipped and spacious room, after a good nights sleep went to the falls just over the road after seeing those walked down valley along river had a superb meal in hotel that evening . Overall an excellent well presented hotel will stop again many thanks.

"Oaklea guest house is welcoming, clean and comfortable."

Have stayed at Oaklea guest house a number of times when visiting relatives and have always received a warm welcome. Room is comfortable with the usual TV, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities. Free WiFi is available in the room.
Bathroom facilities consisted of a large wet room that was maintained and cleaned to a high standard.
Breakfast is nicely cooked with plenty of choice. Parking is available within the grounds.

"clean but disappointing"

We searched for a room and breakfast. The room was clean and freshly Painted The room was small and Just fitted a double bed. breakfast was not included and recommended cafe too far to walk. No hand Soap in the bathroom.

However a great weekend at the big church Day out.

"very comfy, friendly and so helpfull."

I would certainly recommend this small hotel to all my friends as the consideration given to my friend who wasn't at her best was very much appreciated . I do know we will most certainly be making a return visit when possible.

"Faulty towers"

Food was not to bad the room needed updating the shower was hot then it was cold very enoying. We have stayed in b&b,s for the same money but far superia we would not tell friends about it at all.

"Very poor service"

About a week before we were due to arrive, the accommodation sent an email to say the promised "full English breakfast" had been replaced by "continental". I replied asking if the price was reduced to match and was told in a dismissive tone that they were still competitive with the local market.

I contacted the booking agency (about whom I am writing this review) to ask what they thought of this practice - no response whatsoever.

"Booked the room, was a bit suprised that the money was taken from my account, instantly."

As I have said , suprised that money was taken from my account instantly,
this is somthing I do not like, what happens if we have a problem with the hotel, would we be re-embursed. Just thought I would like to point this out.
