Very easy to apply - washed the wall with TSP twice and let dry, before starting. I used a level to make a line on the wall for lining up my first piece (moving from right to left). Left the first piece on the wall overnight to see if adhesion was good, before starting to move along the wall. I only have one caution - these tile pieces are a lot thinner than another brand I've used in a different kitchen, so be extra careful when peeling off backing on the tabs - corners do have a tenancy to tear. Also, keep fingers on edge of tile - don't touch the sticky side. Take your time - don't rush. I'm very pleased with outcome - takes my bland kitchen apartment walls up a few notches!!
